Good morning. Glad to see my question about songs in your head dragged through a good bit of the day.
Starter topic for today... let’s see.
Favorite movie when you were a kid at home:
Bingo (a movie about a dog)
Robin Hood
McClintock

Since you’re up so early, you’ll have plenty of time to create a profile page before the rest of the castle starts stirring.
Now, please ignore me as I’m really only a figment of your imagination.
Oh, uh, and if I left anything on the counter or in the sink in the kitchen, I’ll handl— , er, I mean, they’re ALSO figments of your imagination.
My Friday now ends. My Saturday shall commence when my eyelids open naturally; probably in response to exuberant yutes.

Let’s see...my favorite movies when I was a kid...
“THEM!”
“Invasion of The Body Snatchers”
“Psycho”
And about 50 Westerns.
And about as many John Wayne Westerns, including “McClintock.”

We love “McClintock!”
Howya?
I just spent three hours in the Urgent Care Clinic with Vlad. He’s got croup, sounds like Darth Vader. Der Prinz has gone to Wal-mart to get some medicine for him, and he’s already feeling better now that he’s home with his brothers.

Hang in there, Vlad.
Life among the biohazards will make you stronger eventually, trust me.

Thanks! He’s improved since this morning; his breathing is quieter, and he’s walking around looking for things to dismantle.
Sounds like it’s time for him to have some more medicine, though!

Two lizards: an anole (Bill’s) and a long-tailed grass lizard (Tom’s).
Anoreth has her indoor swamp project, as well as two fish and two gerbils. She’s a little annoyed that we’re not going to let her keep whatever the tadpole in the swamp turns into - it’ll have to go back out to the creek.

Fun day. Went to the churchmens' breakfast -- small turnout, only 4 of us today. But the Wardens were both away, so we didn't have a work party. But a relatively new member of the church was one of the four, so we got to know him better.
Then it was off to the library where I picked up a copy of "Dilbert Gives You The Business", which as NnBob suggested has the strips I was looking for (Dilbert is transferred to Marketing).
Then, because it was feeling like it was cranking to up be REALLY hot and miserable (muggy), after I got home LoM and I went to see "Evan Almighty." She says she hasn't heard me laugh so much in a long time. And I usually don't much like comedies, but I might suggest we get a DVD of this one.

She’s been collecting samples from the streams, ditches, and other areas and keeping them in a big Tupperware container in her room. She has mosquito larvae, minnows, tadpoles, and lots of muck and algae.
She feeds the larvae to her fish (they’re carnivores) but she’s not going to keep a frog or toad!
