I just found one my dogs hanging from a fence. It's still alive but one of it's eyes is now protruding out of it's socket. I tried to push it back in a little but I got scared and I don't want to damage it. Is this something that will go away on its own? Or am I being to scared and can push it in on my own? I can't really afford a vet right now, but will if need be.
I’m so glad to hear your dog is going to be OK - it made my day! I take in stray dogs & cats & sometimes we have to stretch to provide for them, but they are such a blessing to us, we love them as we would our own children.

Great news! Glad everything worked out. I don’t think anyone was upset for you just concerned! :) I know what its like to be out of balance to the income side and have to go to the vet. Thankfully like you we have had a great vet that would allow us to defer payment a month or two. unfortunately he has retired. I guess professionals like that are getting fewer and far between.

I don't think you sound like a bad pet owner at all. The world will never be 100% pet- or child-proof, we all do the best we can and learn our lessons along the way.
