If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It's raining, but I'm leaving now for the park strip and the annual
Salvation Army pancake breakfast.

Hi Kathy, how were the pancakes??
It has rained all day here! Hope you have had some rest. :)

To: Soaring Feather
Yes it was. I was sooooooo lay back today. Didn’t feel like doing anything but chillin out in the 85 degree weather. I don’t get many days like this so when I do I just do as little as possible. I hope that your day was pleasant and uneventful.

Oh, it has rained all day and is miserable and damp. I spent the afternoon wrapped in my wool blanket on the couch sleeping and dreaming. ;) So glad I did not have anything to do today but be lazy.

To: Soaring Feather
Are they doing fireworks in your neck of the woods?

Our city never does anything on the day it is supposed to happen, we had fireworks on Monday night. I was able to see all the aerials from my front porch. Grand show, too.

To: Soaring Feather
I am happy that you enjoyed them. They are planning to have fireworks at Great America Amusement Park. I just may venture out to the street to see them. The show usually is about 20 minutes. If I were to drive, I would be stuck in gridlock traffic for a long time on the highway.

To: NY Attitude
Oh no need to be stuck in traffic for a few fireworks, when you can walk a few yards to enjoy them. ;)
Our grand finish lasts for 20 minutes. Boom boom all
over the place.

To: Soaring Feather
You are so correct about that. I just had to run out and get some Nathan’s hot dogs for dinner. Not that I am going to eat more than 2.

I enjoyed a sour dough burger and a chocolate shake while
watching the Washinton 4th..now New York..on to Boston..
Our fireworks don't start til 10 and I won't be able to see except on the local news.
Watched some of "Patton" again ..appreciating those who
 protect our freedom.

Nice graphic for America’s birthday, thank you.
I have been snoozing and watching TV, watching Johnny Cash now, always loved his music. This is the San Quentin show.

I had some ravioli with Romano cheese and sausage for dinner, it was good. Gonna have an ice cream sandwich now.

Cool. Were they meat or cheese filled ravioli?
