It's better than FireFox, in my opinion.

Pretty interesting. I like it better than firefox on Mac for sure. Mainly because it doesn’t expand to full screen, but just enough to show the full page.

Competition is a good thing, But...Itunes for Windows stinks on ice. I hope Safari is a much better product on Win32.

So, pages will run
the same on the Mac, iPhone
and now Vista, too.
I'd buy Apple stock.
Don't know if I'd buy a Mac,
but I'd buy the stock.

Are you a web developer? Personally, I'm sick of "Safari Work-arounds". Firefox: WAD (Works as Designed)

Let's recall that
Apple is a HARDWARE company. They have every motivation in the world to try to attract the attention of Windows users. Giving Win-users Safari costs them nothing, and puts one more instance of the Apple logo on the Win desktop. One more potential Win-user to be seduced to the Apple side.
With VMware's Fusion for the Mac, I can run Mac OS, Windows (XP and/or Vista), Linux, BSD, and whatever else you name, all concurrently. But only on Apple hardware.
If you want to run Mac OS, you buy Mac hardware. Then you can run everything else too, even all at once. I'm doing it as I type, it's a gas. OS-X 10.4, Win-XP, Fedora Core 4 Linux, NetBSD 3.1, and (OMG!) DOS 7.1. They can share files (Samba) and even cut/paste text between OSes.
Apple's not stupid, and their hardware prices are constantly becoming more competitive. They are rapidly becoming the hardware platform of choice.

dang near suck the life out of your pc.
on a mac it feel more at home but seems to cause problems on some multimedia type sites.
firefox isn’t perfect either on a mac sometimes it really screws up some websites layouts.
imo: IE is the best and fastest, to bad it is like sharing a needle while having sex with a hooker. ever time you go on the net, you are going to catch something.
i use firefox because it feels the same on every OS. i like that.

Sorry—I’ve used both. Safari sux. Firefox puts Safari in the shade in so many ways. Safari isn’t better in any way.

No issues with the upgrade on Mac OSX and the installs on Windows Vista.

Just downloaded it today to my XP laptop.
Will give it a spin, but it’s gonna take a lot to lure me away from FireFox.
