We will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail
Hope your weekend was enjoyable and productive, and you're ready for the week ahead!
Let's hope the news stories which reflect in some measure our national interests move away from Paris What's-her-name!
Well, about the plane trip. The youngest and I had moved Singapore Air into our favorite airline. The food was superb, we weren’t totally crammed into stearage, the flight personnel were professional and courteous. Then we landed. We didn’t bounce and we did walk away from it. But it was very hard. Landing well is such an important part of a flight!
In Singapore, we switched over to Northwest. Congratulations to NWA for the reorganization and coming out of Chapter 11. The landing in Narita was very smooth. There was no bounce, not hardness; it was totally soft and wonderful.
But, we were crammed and cramped in the cattle car. There was very little room to wiggle in the seat. And on the 12 hour flight, a person needs to wiggle just a tad.
The personnel were very kind and helpful. But, NWA has cut back on what is available to their customers. On that twelve hour flight we were served dinner, then a piece of cake for a snack and in the last two hours, breakfast. The portions of the dinners were skimpy and tasteless. There was more food available, if you want to pay FIVE BUCKS for a sandwich or a few sticks of cheese. Unlimited quantities of water were available. And one of the worst things, they only serve PEPSI products. THERE WAS NO DIET COKE!!!!!!
We are now investigating alternate airlines.
But NWA still ranks higher than Delta.
Ack!! No Diet Coke! Such a long trip one would think they would feed you more.
But they are out of CHAPTER ELEVEN!!!
What they don’t seem to realize they may put themselves right back into bankruptcy because they have no service anymore either.
How has your day been?
Grrrr, I hate it when I but something and put it where I don’t know, thinking about getting me a box of that remember stuff Byer is putting out. I hate to mention anything about my not remembing where I put stuff to my D as she will hollow ‘OK, we are going to get you tested’.
Lazy, real lazy.
It’s best that you do very little when it’s that hot.
Oh Toby, you don’t forget where you’ve put something, you just put it in a safe place. I do that all the time and you know they are safe there.
Pretty much done my "stuff", and I'm happy.
Dolly! GO CAVS!! For this month, I'm a basketball fan, too!
I don't mind doing laundry, but I despise putting it away because it seems there is never enough room, even though, Greg and I have separate closets, a chest of drawers and a double dresser.
