We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail!
I am so not aleart. I read your new tagline and thought “Why does Paris, France need to be liberated.” Oh duh. :) Good tagline.
I understand where you are coming from regarding your experience this morning. They are so in your face. I believe they do it just to antagonize us. Just like the ‘flying imams” and the taxi drivers here in MN. We have quite a few Somalian muslims in our city and I know one of the reasons they are here is because the churches brought them here. When our Catholic diocese (and I’m Catholic) wanted to bring some Bhutu (or something like that) tribe over here I wrote my senator strongly opposing this. They are one of the most uncivilized tribes there are. One of my main concerns was the health issue. You know these people have never had vacinations and wouldn’t consent to them.Anyway, they haven’t come here yet. Too much opposition, I think. (I know, paragraphs would have been good).
/rant off
I would think it doesn’t bode well for Hillary if the 24-36 age group women are missing with their support. I am continually amazed at all the older, gray haired ladies I see supporting her and that are anti-war. You’d think by that age (my age!) they would know better.
Been going all day. Just catching up with the thread.
My daughter and family left here on Sunday evening, and she flew back to be with me for a few days. Been busy all day picking up at airport, planning celebration of life service for tomorrow and planning/ordering foodstuffs for a light luncheon after the service.
So far, doing fine with the help of the Rocke (the dog) and all of the support from my friends here at ATRW.
Many thanks for all of your prayers, they are sincerely appreciated.
Hugs hon. Hope all goes well at the service. Glad your daughter is with you for the time being. Will call you later(whoops, just looked at clock - it IS later, already)
You know jtill, you are on our minds and in our prayers at this time. I wish there was more we could do. Prayers are up and constant for your peace and comfort.
Hi MNbelle! Thanks for your interesting and informative post. I’m glad the Bhutus haven’t come there yet. As you might have surmised, that was the first personal experience I can recall having had like that. The ‘flying imams’ were obviously doing it, probably for several reasons, including testing the reaction of the other passengers and also the officials. I totally agree that they must be doing it to antagonize us, which begs the question of their true sincerity in their ‘act of worship’. After he left, I told the train driver that if the muslim was trying to bow toward mecca and was off by a fraction of an inch, by the time that aim got thousands of miles away, he would be off by many miles and bowing to something totally different.
