We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail!
Hi prairie - good to hear things are settled with the in-laws.
I found as my Dad got older, he relied very heavily on what “his girls” said. He had been a very decisive man during his life, but wanted no responsibility for making decisions like that as he got older.
It’s a lovely, cool day here. I wore a sweatshirt well past 11:00 am.
Was that OxyClinton the one done by Laura Ingraham? I saw a clip of that on Fox and it was hillarious. I laughed out loud.
The winds were strong all day, and we had gusts in the 50 mph stage. (That was even before the storm hit.) Even after the storm we still had strong surging winds.
I heard they had flown Al Roekker (sp?)in to Milwaukee to report on the weather yesterday. Apparently we were all to be looking down the barrel of a gun with the storms that were brewing. (I heard one forecaster say it was going to be The Perfect Storm.)
If that's the case I would say the gun was a misfire. I've seen stronger storms.
Glad to see you again!
See you soon!
Hi MN, thanks for the encouragement. I wouldn’t say yet that things are “settled”, but hopefully are are settling.
(Waiting until the ink is dry and papers filed, etc.)
IG, very very cool here on the High Plains this AM. Heard 29 degrees in Lamar, CO and snow somewhere in S. Dakota. Very pleasant now though and at least the blasted WIND has stopped. We’ve had 30-40mph with 50mph gust wind advisaries for the past two days.
Made it so we had to lower the internet dish on the coach, can’t have it up in high winds. Thankfully the worse of it didn’t interfere with our business. Hence, I’m behind in the news but that’s OK too. .
You are not missing much. Hilton over load!
Oh yes. This is what passes for “news” these days.
rolling eyes!

I’ve got this bright yellow mold in the mulch bed. I had it years ago and forgot how to get rid of it.
Slime mold? Sprinkle a little lime...I think.
New tagline..
You are soooo bad. ;-)
Shutting down to relax. See you in the morning.
g;nite toots. don’t forget the game
sounds like it
Today was an incredibly uncanny day for me. I was sitting on my usual commuter light rail car at 4:45 am. A black man came on the platform, right outside on the left of the railcar and positioned himself out there and commenced to bow down to mecca. I was extremely offended by this flagrant exhibition of idolatry to some idol thousands of miles away.
Then the muslim departed. Subsequently, the muslim came back and repeated the abomination of bowing to some idol. That is when I began to ponder if this %@%$^#$ was going to come on the train car and start sawing off heads in keeping with the koran instruction to kill the infidel. And it was alarming especially since he could have practiced his Satan worship out of view of the train passengers, but chose to display it in front of all of us. The ^$#^#@^ came up and opened the door and asked what time it was. The train driver, who is a friend of mine, reluctantly told the #%^$& the time and the R@EYE$%^ departed once and for all.
There is an al-Qaeda cell in Denver which was identified here right after 9/11 and, unbelievably, is still here, even though it is an organization that wishes to not only overthrow, but destroy the American government.
I didn't go out there and thrust a cross in his face.
I'll just say this. If the Crusades are ready to start up, sign me up.
Yes, that is the one. I watched it twice with my sister and about fell on the floor laughing. :) I think Hillary! does have a generation gap. She had some sort of hip meeting in Washington DC and the 24-36 year old women were conspicuously missing.
Oh, poor picked on Paris Hilton. I read the judge was pretty upset that she had been let out of jail. I'll bet that deputy is in a heap of trouble.
