We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail!
Happy to hear nothing was broken. Please take care and don’t overdo.
Yum. French Onion Soup...gooey cheese.
French Onion Soup! One of my favorites, too!
All my errands are done and I got some outside work done. Now I have to figure out what to make for supper. The larder is pretty bare as I didn’t want to buy too much stuff since we will be gone for almost a week. Maybe eggs...
LOL I wonder why?
Yeah? Well, it is so hot here I am thinking of having smothered ice cubes for supper.
Eggs? Eggs? someone mention eggs?
I want to take a nap but if I do it will be yet another restless night ahead of me.
I can’t imagine the amount that you get. We get 6 a day and that’s plenty even when giving them away. I now give some to the dogs once in awhile.
Mine chickens are slowing down on laying, getting 24 every two days and often on 14. When my NRW chicks start laying next year, no telling how many I will get, just have to call this place a ‘egg farm’.
And DIET coke.
Trying to smoke a PORK? LOL!
Okay, if you can fit that pig in your pipe.
I like cold pizza for breakfast. Also, cold lasagne.
I can only imagine how many knots I would have those tails in.
Hello there. I am at an airport kiosk and freeping away. We had a bit of a scare at our second landing yesterday. We were over the runway when the pilot decided to abort and go around for a second try.
Think through the possible reasons. He was between 1/3 and 1/2 of the way down the runway and all of a sudden he powers up and begins to lift. Yikes strikes!
The second try got him in but the Youngest and I thought he was rather fast and it took him a long time to bring the plane to a stop.
Can you say GARUDA AIRLINES?
The landing here in Singapore was different too. We landed with a whump! It was the hardest landing I’ve experience.
Other than that the flight was perfect. I have a new favorite airline: Singapore Air. The service was phenomenal. The place was clean and the workers were polite and not surly.
We now have a 7 hour trip, followed by a twelve hour trip followed by a short hop.
There are substantial times on the ground, too.
I gotta go.
lysie, good for you for getting the kitchen work done.
I managed more than I thought possible in less time. How's that? Meeting tonite...
Utah Girl, thanks for the book title and comments. The ability of the Left to excuse mass murders is morally reprehensible. Of course their sympathy only goes for the Communists like Mao, Fidel...Can you imagine any of them say, Well, Hitler had some good points: he encouraged young Germans to get fit and spend time outdoors??
I'm reading John McPhee's Assembling California. I would sure love to travel I-80 west from the Nevada line into the Central Valley someday. Other places he writes about in CA, I've visited, but not that stretch of road.
Prager discussed the Rs debate. He played Giuliani's answer about pardoning Libby, and it was forceful and right!
Some good family news: a note from a young cousin says he's getting married the end of summer..and I think I/we can attend...should work with the schedule.
Continued safe travels, Jemian
That’s incredible, and I love that duet. It’s perfect for the visual.
Yikes, Jem. Scary!
