I curious as to why this assumption that "young people" would be more "inspired" (or whatever) by this design than by the traditional Olympic design.

I think it represents the crumbling edifice of Europe which is falling apart due to a lack of manhood.

It looks broken. I hope they have it fixed by 2012

Looks like the islamofascists already blew it up and they tried to piece it back together.

The designers were dumb as rocks because that logo SCREAMS “fractured” or “broken”, the exact opposite of what the rings represent.
Looks like it was done by a pre-school and the teacher slapped the Olympic rings in the corner.

Organisers hope the brand will boost the marketing push
and convey the message that London 2012 will be "Everyone's Games".
I'm hopeless. I'm blind. I feel like I've been buried so deep in sh*t that I can't see the t*rds.

Quick. We need to overnight a bunch of duct tape to London. Make it that NASCAR “two-hunnert-mile-an-har” tape, it comes in different colors to match their logos!

I’ve worked in information technology for twenty years now, and one thing that being an IT geek has taught me is to despise marketers from the very depths of my being. They’re the people that overpromise to a client, deliver you a signed contract with an impossible combination of features and deadline, tell you that the big boss says to “do what it takes” to get it done, and then they go off and buy a new Mercedes while you’re pulling 14-hour days.
Honestly, that logo looks kind of like a piece of safety glass that a Muslim yoot just hit with a rock.

"When people see the new brand, we want them to be inspired to make a positive change in their life. Why would any logo for a sporting event do that?
