if your AC is bringing in outside air you got a problem unless you have a fresh air intake. (and fresh air intakes are very rare)
unless a system has a fresh air intake the inside air should never mix with the outside air and vice versa.
I suspect you are in a relatively leaky older home. which is not all bad!

There'd have to be some air interchange--or should be. Otherwise there'd be a build up of CO2 and household cleaner chemicals and less than optimal oxygen.
