I was on Hwy 40...the National Highway, yesterday and folks were already setting up their wares for the National Hwy road sales that start today and run through the week-end,..if you love yard sales, you would love to drive along this Hi-way, for sure....I did stop at a fruit and plant stand and saw a beautiful Mandevilla Vine...it hadn't started blooming yet, sure wish they were hardy for our growing zone. Are they hardy for zone 5 or 6, Illstillbe?

We have a week before we leave. We were delayed because it was noticed our visas would run out while we were in the states. That’s a problem. So, instead of just extending the things, the school decided to totally renew them. Now, they’ll run from May to May instead of August to August. We go to immigration in the morning for fingerprinting.

Reminds me of the time when she said profits will be taken away "for your own good" and given to the less industrious. Sort of takes away all incentive to prosper, doesn't it? How transparent can she get and still people don't realize what she is?
My ‘cross the street neighbor is moving, sure wish I could buy his 14 acres, real nice, big ole oaks, the ones that survived the storm that is, moving to Texas.
Our Golden Cross had a very successful organization meeting yesterday with 14 ‘old folks’ showing up. Good plans started to be made too, we are going to invite other church Sr’s to join us. The requirements for membership, to Be a beliver in Jesus Christ and He is our personal Saviour, all invited who believe this and we do not discuss any beliefs of any church, just goo old good Christian fellowship. Going to invite other church groups across America to join up with the cause. It is a good way for getting to know each other and do some good in the name of Christ. gotta be 50 and older but if one comes who is younger, they eat and join in conversation with us old folks. As we all know, we will not get out of this world alive so, enjoy the Christian fellowship.
We were called the other day by Foster Care and told
D that the adoption approval is being mailed to us on Trevor Jason, TJ for short. In a couple or three weeks he will be adopted by D and SIL, my instant grandson. Already talk about getting a little girl from Foster Care otherwise, a instant grand daughter. So many of these children are out there that will never have a future, no telling what they will grow up to be but with love, miracles can be achieved.
Going to rain today, heavy at times but we need it and besides, I get a day of rest which I need.
My wee little chicks are getting not so wee anymore
they are growing by leaps and bounds and the turkeys are as lazy as can be, they tickle me. Got one Tom one Hen, won’t be too long before they start talking turkey.
It is off to check my garden and to put some feed on the plants before it rains. Talk to you later.

Toby...this sale does run for hundreds of miles.....but since it is on the Old National Rd...it runs east to west. I have heard of the southern one that runs north to south.

Whenever I hear of something she’s mentioned about taking from the rich or sharing of profits for the “common good” I think of her and bill “sharing” items from the whitehouse when they left. Sharing the profits he’s made from speeches in foreign countries ie, the arab lands, don’t count. She is a true communist of the “ruling” class. She gets to keep but we must share. lol
The north, south one has gotten really popular, folks from all the states around travel the road. I really would like to do the same but to be honest, I have not a place to put one more thing. You are looking at a ‘junkie’ shopper here. lobe that old stuff for sure.

1. Vladimir Putin will visit the USA July 1 and 2, staying with President Bush (and his dad) at Kennebunkport.
2. That odious “Adam the American” has released a video threatening the USA, and he is even more obnoxious that that Zawalhiri! Wagging his finger into the camera (dressed in beard and turban) and saying “Allah willing, you will see something worse than September 11.”
Why he isn’t on a hit list I don’t know.
