Any suggestions? Free pop up blockers? Ones that I have to pay for?

I have the hated IE7, I use Outlook and I subscribe to Windows Live OneCare. I love it and have NO pop-ups and NO Spam mail. I also am on cable connection.

You've got a spyware infection. Go to this site in Internet Explorer and run a full system scan.

Then go here and grab Firefox so as to safeguard yourself against drive-by malware installations that occur online. Also, installing Windows Defender is not a bad idea.

If you are getting pop-ups on FR, then you have a more serious problem.

You have ad ware and probably spyware running on your computer.

Download, install and run both Spybot Search and Destroy and < a href="http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5">Ad-Aware. They are both free to home users and effective on eliminating such pests as adware and spyware.

Firefox works quite well.
Ditch AOHell, or at least use the AOLDialer.
Google Spybot S&D, Adaware, and AVG. If you need stronger protection, you are probably already infected. (About a 2-3 hour job to clean up)

If you are getting popups on FR you probably have spyware/malware inadvertently installed on your pc and that is what is doing it. Get AD-Aware. It is the best removal tool there is and it's free.

Install this (and after installing it, go to the options menu under ‘tools’, click on the content tab, and make sure the ‘block popup windows’ is checked):
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

followed by this (if you also want to block flash advertisements):
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433

Check if that works. You can also install this
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
to get the functionality of internet explorer (for the 0.25% of websites that do not like Firefox).

Worked for me.

OK, getting popups on FR is a whole new ballgame. Ditto on what everyone else said on installing and running spybot and adaware (which together can catch and cure most problems). But switching to Firefox and installing those listed extensions should also make your internet use less stressful and help prevent many new problems from appearing.
