After releasing a teaser site for the "Batman Begins" sequel, "The Dark Knight," WB has launched a guerilla campaign for the film.
First they launched a teaser picture that will start a mock campaign for "Harvey Dent for D.A." Harvey Dent, who eventually becomes Two-Face, will be an upcoming D.A. in the film and will be played by Aaron Eckhart. The picture can be found at Ibelieveinharveydent.com.
However, soon an alternate site that is supposed to be "The Joker's Website" appeared, called ibelieveinharveydenttoo. It starts with a defaced version of the "Dent for D.A." pic, which slowly fades into a ghostly image of the face of Batman's nemesis. It has an option where you can enter your e-mail, and with each e-mail received, another pixel is added, until all the pixels slowly formed the first official image of the Joker's face.
Enough e-mails were entered, and now, at long last, here is the final product:

Well, if gorillas are campaigning for it...it can’t be ALL bad....???
Wakka wakka wakka...
I don’t support Heath Ledger movies anymore, I don’t care who he is playing!
Oh brother.
Christian Bale is a superb actor!!!...Superb!
I'm just disappointed they chose Heath Ledger...
..I doubt he will ever live down his Brokeback movie role.
Props to WB for ingenius marketing (for a change).
I was disappointed with Ledger at first, too, but I got used to it after a while, and after studying him as an actor a little bit, I think I see what they’re getting at...and in the end, it was actually a clever choice.
I hope people are mature enough to ditch any “Brokeback Mountain” notions they have and accept that it was just a movie.
Jack played it perfectly. He scared the living crap out of me. Heath, on the other hand, looks like a wimpy little punk thrown out of a costume contest for fans of The Crow.
Shame on Christopher Nolan for following up Batman Begins with a lame retread of previous Batman baddies.
Ledger looks like Marlon Brando in this pic.
And anyway, why don't you wait until the movie actually comes out (which is about a year away) before passing judgement? It's not what the Joker looks like, it's what he *does* that defines him (to quote). I already know some of the things he's going to do in this film, and I think he's going to make Nicholson's Joker look like Mr. Rogers in comparison. In fact, I think it's going to be hard for them to get a PG-13 rating, based on what I've heard.
