[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Whew! Am I pooped! This hot weather is tiring, but at least I got my final visa, so once I head back to Taiwan tomorrow, it could very well be a year or two before I go out again. Maybe Thailand will have an elected government by then, instead of a military junta. Next time I do travel (except for inside Taiwan) I may very well go to Japan, a place that has always interested me, but which I have never been to (except the airport for a connecting flight!)

Well I've scooped up tons of photos, got 200 just today! I can hardly slide them off the camera onto the memory card fast enough. I hope Lairites will understand it will take me a long time to formulate them into coherent "tours" and then upload them all for viewing! It will probably be two months before I do, as I'll likely have to wait till I've bought a new laptop so I can work on this at my leisure (Internet cafes aren't the best places for this).

In the meantime, here's a few teasers to keep your interest.
