As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Not much news this morning. Hitlery is still hurling, O'bama is still bombing, John Edwards is still flushing, and the Communists in the House still want to surrender.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Our rabbits don’t seem to bother any of my plants, but the bugs sure do. Our rabbits make nests in the llama barn and shed though. Tomorrow I’m going to make that tabacco, garlic, soap tea and spray everything.
I planted quite a few radishes and I didn’t know even though the picture on the seed package shows round radishes, some of them look like long strings, some are long with bulbs on the top and bottom with a 1 inch stretch between the bulbs, some are round like the package. This iss quite an experience. I had one shoot up about 18 inches and produced white flowers, nothing in the ground but roots.
Dog, your Dad being 81 years young is also cause for celebration! Many more, I pray.
IG, I thought you particularly would be interested in the sleep deprivation article @ http:dailymail.co.uk.
The article below is interesting and the comments afterwards are funny. Be sure to read them.
TP poker. LOL
My little chicks are starting to get bigger and bigger,’The Swimmer’ is trying to be the head chicken in charge but the rest are NOT putting up with that move at all.
Gotta run into town and get some compost so I can start planting the bushes we got, we got good dirt but it has to have something to support the growth with. Probably will get a couple more bushes for planting as well, and some 13-13-13.
I love my new lawnmower, it is self propelled where my other one was armstrong type. Will start planting bushes, cutting grass for the rest of the week it looks like.
Nine more days and we go before the courts with Jason to start that first step in adopting him, course I want to get a couple more children from foster care, it is a task but worth it, believe me. I think D is leaning that way too. I know that SIL is for sure and I am the one pushing them to do so. Jason has given me my second wind, he is ACTIVE and I say that with mouth wide open.
‘Mission Accomplished’ day today, and it was, for the Carrier, but oh no, the dimwit's, play a tune till it is worn into the ground, if I were W I would wait until tomorrow just to get back at the ‘jokers’. If you will, just take a few minutes today to pray for OUR President W, he needs all the prayers he can get.
All have a safe day, a good one, or, one like you want to have, and may I say that is an honor to have this opportunity to talk to you even if it is by the keyboard.
It is always nice when your kids ask every day ‘how are your FRIENDS doing today and it is always ‘just fine’.
Toby
I apparently missed that news off another thread, but I'm dancing a jig too!
Off to read carolinamom's toilet paper thread. heh!
The honor is ours, Toby.
OOXXOXXOOXXX
Well I just planted a few hyacinth beans for fun...next to a couple of boulders in the sun...will see what happens.
Lovely day...
Jemian, something about your situation was ringing a bell with me...then there was your GREAT post last night, then I woke up this morning as the lightbulb went ON!
Last year I was working on some family letters..old ones to my grandfather from his mother's cousin. The writer wrote several times about her abnormal white blood count - this was 1957 -, and then finally in one letter: NO LEUKEMIA! Those exact words you used...
So others have gone this route before...
If the WH was smart, the Pres and Veep would be on TV daily talking about this very issue. Why they don't, I can't understand.
Maybe the Pres will comment on this when he vetoes...if that stupid surrender bill ever actually gets to his desk, that is.
That will be pretty next to the boulder.
I thought you might be interested in the article linked below which focuses on the connection between tainted pet food and CHICKEN FEED.
My son is in Texas this week on business (either Dallas or Austin) - I can’t remember - but it looks like a rainy week down there. That’s according to the Weather Channel, anyway. I hope he didn’t take his golf clubs as I doubt he’ll get to use them.
WHEE HAW!!!! -— I missed your ping yesterday.
Hallelujah!
I know about sinusitis, Jemian. I have had two sinus surgeries but the last one seems to have been successful as I have had only one infection in 3 years. I do have chronic sinusitis though, which can’t be corrected by surgery.
I am so relieved you don’t have leukemia.
Thanks for the start, Chair. Actually, reports are that the Demodogs are trying to figure out how to surrender to Bush, now...
Just got finished playing a little whack-a-mole - the biannual “gonna go Third Party” dolts - late on this thread - a few posts near post 270 or so...

I said biannual... it is getting to be perennial now... but since I’m beginning to give flowers a bad name by association if I say much more about that on this thread I might be banned...
No decision yet on daughter and school - complications brought on by her mom... will have to wait until mid-next-week.
May Day is alive and well in our household as my son, who is 46, still sends me a May Day basket each May 1st.
He told me that he still remembers when he was little, coming home from school with his May Day basket. ringing the doorbell, and hiding. I would come out and find him and give him a big hug.
Good morning, Molly. Good links again today - thanks. I do hope we got al Masri this time.
I finished The Lost Gardens the other night. You were right, there could have been more about the English gardens, but it was a good read.
That’s sweet.
Well, there just aren't enough Rosamunde Pilchers, right?? LOL!
AF, I really hesitate to give you advice about the schooling thing, since I can see it both ways. You know your daughter best! Prayers for your concerns.
My husband is being honored for 30 years service & employment this p.m., so time to get cleaned up and out to the ceremony.
Back later..keeping an eye on the storm possibilities, too...
oh that’s wonderful!!
Excellent. Congratulations, Mr. P!
