Gladys Knight is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I wonder if Bill Maher will insult her to her face.

"Famous Mormons:"
I didn't know Kelly Downs was Mormon. He was on the 89 NL pennant winning Giants team--started and won Game 4 of the NLCS that year against the Cubs from what I remember.
Shawn Estes, too. Won 19 games in his first full season w/ the Giants and then he had shoulder problems from about the middle of the 98 season on.
(I know, not exactly nota bene, but it's baseball season and it's summer, so it's a tangent I'll go off on regularly. :) ).
