LOS ANGELES (AP) - Alec Baldwin has parted ways with his agents at a major Hollywood talent agency, his spokesman said Monday.
Baldwin left Creative Artists Agency for personal reasons, said spokesman Matthew Hiltzik. He did not elaborate.
The actor has made headlines in recent days after an angry voicemail to his daughter was obtained by the celebrity Web site TMZ.com and broadcast around the world.
Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger have been locked in a custody dispute over their 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, since their 2002 divorce.
In it, Baldwin yelled at his daughter for failing to answer the telephone for a prearranged call and called her a "rude, thoughtless little pig."
Baldwin has since apologized.
>> “rude, thoughtless little pig.”
Wouldn’t that make her the child of a rude thoughtless big pig?
OH BOY TOO FUNNY
Baldwin is neither creative nor an artist, so what was he doing there in the first place?
Why would a talent agency want to do anything with Alec Baldwin?
I love the taste of schadenfreude in the morning.
Arec Barwin is f*#$%ing finished.
On my list of things I couldn’t give two craps about...
Wasn’t he a physically abusive husband?
This abusive rant combined with his death threat against Henry Hyde, and his past pattern of assault should make good grounds for a restraining order.
I hope.
Didn’t he just win an entertainment award?
"Personal reasons" such as CAA telling him "We do NOT represent you anymore!"
And the answer is YES!!!!!!!
In Hollywood, this is pretty serious.
Please, someone post a thread where the caption is “Alec Baldwin Leaves the U.S.A. Forever” That would be worth the price of admission.
You know, if Alec Baldwin would have moved to France like he promised to, he wouldn’t have had to make such a long-distance phone call.
Just saying...
He told them they were rude, thoughtless little pigs.

Not to play Devil’s Advocate, but okay. If the Mom, Kim was really concerned about her child, wouldn’t that concern extend to the earning capacity of her child’s father? After all his earning capacity translates into more financial security for the child, no? Perhaps the same rules do not apply as both mother and father seem to have equal earning capacity, but still, a typical mother will still think about the ramifications for the child. IMHO, this consideration for the child is somehow missing on both their parts.
