I've recharged both batteries of my cordless GrassHog, and I'm ready to start trimming. I love that machine!

Yesterday, I went hog wild at the nursery...as usual...and bought many plants so I will be working in the garden too.

Lowe's had a 50% off sale on dahlia tubers and lily bulbs, so I bought some of those too. I had gone there to get more Miracle Grow potting mix ($9.95) and not only got a bag of it, but there was a bag w/only a little tear in it that I got half price, so now I have a plentiful supply.

If I have energy left, I'm planning to spray any pesky poison ivy plants that survived last year's spraying.

Yes, I do, and I LOVE it! I have already used it this year when we did our epic mowing last week. It's great, because Mr. Marple doesn't like to trim, and when he did do trimming he invariably cut some flowers down.

I can do all of the trimming in my yard in about half an hour, using both batteries.

Molly, this is a tool well worth buying. I can't tell you how much better it is to have a lightweight trimmer that operates without a cord!

Is it Lake Como?

She has a lot of funny stories. One time she was at the zoo with the kids and they were in a crowd looking at the lions. A male lion sort of backed up to the fence and my sister thought "Oh, no, I know cats and I recognize that position!"

"RUN!" she told the kids, and they sprinted to the other side of the walkway, just as the crowd was sprayed with about two quarts of lion urine! MUCH cussing in Italian! LOL!
