Infact I liked the Ubuntu presentation and desktop, sharp and clean, but something strange about me, I guess, I really need my mouse to work!

The single biggest problem with Linux is there is no standard package management software. And I keep thinking Hey, this is supposed to be open source, why the heck are they making software sharing so difficult...??? But each one gets into their own pseudo-proprietary kick and whatever distro you chose, you’ve already locked yourself out of 90% of the development community.

Doesn’t make sense.

I totally agree.

I’ve made similar points in linux forums in the past, but usually got shouted down.

Too much of anything is a bad thing, and that includes choice.

While I keep attacking liberals, all you can do is attack me.

Whether or not I like these people, your lies about them need to be corrected.

The ftp program in your system is open source software from Berkeley, the center of American socialism.

On Torvalds I simply pointed out he is here on a green card and has recommended in writing “whacking” people over software patents

There you go again, suggesting he actually suggests killing people over patents. I'm sure you also think he wouldn't mind if an evil scientist killed him with shark-mounted lasers. He said that, too.

If you're not going to remove the hat, at least poke some holes in it. Your crazy waves are reflecting back on your brain, accelerating and intensifying the crazy reaction in the way that the neutron reflectors in a thermonuclear bomb do.

Part of the double edged sword is you really cant force anyone to use ‘your’ format. There are only a couple of big ones and in truth a decent distro could be set up to deal with any or all of them.

I’ve noticed that as well. It is most often no big deal to convert packages from RPM to DEB with Alien.
