As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
BREAKING--DRUDGE SIREN--VIRGINIA TECH BUILDING EVACUATED, POLICE SWARMING WITH GUNS DRAWN...
President Bush has ordered flags flown at half-staff in memory of the victims of the VT massacre.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
You have the unique poetic gift, illstillbee, for capturing the essence of our beloved Kay.
Your reference to her love of lilacs reminds me of Eliot’s “April is the cruelest month”....for us, because Kay has left us.
And Whitman’s...
“When lilacs last in the door-yard bloom’d,
And the great star early droop’d in the western sky in the night,
I mourn’d..and yet shall mourn with ever-returning spring....”
Thank you for that picture. I remember it from years ago.
She would not want us to be sad.
I'm trying, Kay..really, really trying.
Needless to say, this has been done and my friends are working on it....
She wanted only good things.....for all of us.
She was a rock, a steady voice of reassurance and caring and common sense all rolled into one. I leaned on her so many times........and she never seemed to mind.
She helped me through some very tough times.
Dang.
This is hard.
That's why we, here, must stay together.
This has rally upset me, when we had the storm Kay stayed in contact with me, pushing me on and on, she will be missed greatly by me and my family. She now is in the arms of our Lord, no more sickness, no more pain, just pure golden love now....
Beautifully said, Toby, about a beautiful soul and a lady we will never forget.
((Toby))
The snow has melted. I may be able to dig up the irises. I'll let you know when I mail them. Probably the beginning of next week. I don't want them sitting in a post office all weekend.
I think Kay was the first ATRWer I exchanged addresses with. She asked if I'd send her an extra Bush sticker I had the summer of '00. 4 years later she paid me back with the '04 version.
And she was a faithful & supportive correspondent in tough times.. as you write MozartLover.
And Heaven rejoiced!
I’m so sad ... so sad .... my brain tells me one thing, my heart another, my faith, well ... I don’t know ....I just do not know
Im so sad ... so sad .... my brain tells me one thing, my heart another, my faith, well ... I dont know ....I just do not know
At the moment you don't know. Same as me. But both you and I will figure it out with our faith in due course.
Kayak always said to me, both on the open forum, and by FReepmail, "we think so much alike, even to finishing each other's sentences."
Even though we never met in person, I (and the First lady) have lost a FRiend.

An extra strong hug on the left side! We love you, Mozie. To everything there is a season... A time to mourn... And a time for every purpose under heaven. Now, is the time to mourn. Jesus wept when His friend died.
The left side is closest to the heart, you know.
Me too.
Im glad you are here with us..
We are like sisters and brothers.
Make me brownies..
