AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2276) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 17, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/17/2007 4:38:49 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Today is the DemoncRAT high holy day.

Regarding Blacksburg, the sequence of events as they appear to be at the moment.

In the morning, an Asian man enters a domitory and starts a conversation with his girl friend. He believed his girl friend has been seeing another man. A quarrel ensued, and a resident advisor was called to sort things out.

Unknown to all, the asian man had entered the dormitory with two 9mm handguns; the Asian man produced a weapon, and shot both the girl and the advisor dead on the spot.

The shooter then calmly crossed the campus to the Burruss Hall classroom complex and entered the building. Conflicting reports exist as to whether the gunman then chained the doors, but they were chained from the inside which police describe as highly unusual.

It was at this point, the gunman, dressed in a maroon hat, leather jacket, black military-style shooting vest, and carrying an "inordinate amount of ammunition" started going classroom to classroom, shooting up each. In some instances, the gunman lined up folks before, essentially, executing them. The gunman would reload his 9mm weapons as he moved from room to room.

There were students who were so terrified they jumped from fourth floor windows. There were other instances where students held doors shut using their feet while butressed against other objects. In the end, some 32 people, both students and professors, were killed and at least 15 wounded before the gunman committed suicide as police closed in.

In the aftermath, calls for "gun control" have arisen anew, notwithstanding the striking down of the Washington, DC, gun control law by the Federal Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. Let's not forget in this monumental tragedy, the gunman was not inclined to follow the law anyway.

In the Commonwealth, it is illegal to possess a firearm (police excepted) within 100 yards of a school, including colleges and universities. So what would another statute do? Answer, be ignored. But, again, the Federal courts have ruled such unconstitutional anyway.

It is a tragedy. Please respect and pray for the loved ones of the victims, and for those who are wounded.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

What an awful experience for both of you! This is coopster’s daughter? Glad she is okay now but I am sure you were literally sick to your stomach to see her after the fall & then go thru the fright experience with her didn’t help.

Need to try to go back to sleep but note two BIG dogs have commandeered my sleeping area...

Thanks for the post, ML...

kayak will be so missed, poppyseed ...

My prayers continue for her, and your whole family. The best assurance you can have about this situation is your having witnessed the way she witnessed to the Truth throughout her life, as we here at ATRW certainly experienced.

God bless you all.

Yes, thanks. A good night's sleep did wonders.

I am not going anywhere today...no shopping, no errands, nothing. If the weather stays nice, I am going to work outside today. If not, I am going to give the basement rec room a good cleaning.

Regarding your post last night about Edwards. I understand how you feel, but I think my brother is closer to the feel of the national democrats. No one here in Indiana hears anything about his big houes, his wife running things, his failure to pay taxes, etc. I think Edwards will look the most electable to democrats in states other than North Carolina. (Plus my sister-in-law is a trial lawyer so that part of his background is a plus for them.)

I talked to my brother for quite a bit last night. He is a smart guy in some ways, but he really has been brainwashed. He is still thinking that the volunteer army is made up of drug addicts and petty criminals who were told "army or jail", and when I told him he was wrong about that he told me that I could bring him all the statistics I wanted, but he knew what was the truth and he wouldn't believe them. See what we're dealing with?

The democrat story is one of victimhood and being for the little guy.

Edwards/Obama will have a powerful story, which I can hear now: "This poor son of millworkers, a son of the South, has overcome his background and has made partership with a black man..."

The commercials write themselves. Anyway, we will see. My husband said this morning that he thinks Hillary has twice as much money as has been reported, and that she will force Edwards to quit. We'll see.

The youngest and I are planning to return to the states this summer. She wants to be with horses; I don’t want her to travel alone.

I don’t know if I told anyone here. I lost 4 kilos (8.8lbs) this past month.
