ISRAELI researchers are looking into whether spider venom could help cure impotency after men bitten by arachnids experienced prolonged erection, a newspaper reported today.

The research was launched after observations that some men bitten by spiders "suffered from prolonged erections," the mass-selling Yediot Aharonot daily said.

The bad news is that your woman kills you and eats you after you’re done.
IF ever there was a reason for a prolonged erection, that's it.

LOL! Not sure if it's generosity or self preservation.

It would be like messing in your own house.

Is this related to how the spider jumps?

It works if there are no additives.

In some instances, the opposite effect is noted:

Enkidu [with one Shamash - a temple prostitute used as a bait] pulled out 168 hours of continuous, unbroken copulation. BTW, the records [Gilgamesh epic] mention no doping [spider or otherwise]. Thus his performance is used as a benchmark. Who - documented - did better?

This also works with the bite of the Brown Recluse, but the side effects aren’t good.

You’d think with eight limbs, the spiders wouldn’t need that much chemistry...

Personally, I think the whole story is one big web of lies.

[rimshot!]

It’s actually not a PhotoShop - it’s a Halloween costume. Poor pup!

That whole business is very interesting. I got an eggsac from a black widow once. I put it in a large jar and waited.

A while later, they started hatching. I fed them bugs, but they eventually consumed each other... till there were only two left.

A large female with the distinct markings, and a smaller brownish male.

She tolerated him. After a while, she laid an egg sack.

The stupid male screwed up. He musta got turned on bigtime and laid his own version of an egg sack (actually it has spider sperm in it).

The sperm can live along time in the web. She decided at that point that he was no longer necessary, kinda like a dame leaves a guy as long as she can still get at his checkbook.

So she et him.

After a while I decided that having a bunch of black widow spiders in a jar in my house might not be the greatest idea I ever had, so I destroyed them. But it was interesting!

So in what Bible verse can I find this example of manly prowess?

You ought to consult the Gilgamesh epic, written ca. 5000 years ago. It is not in the bible, but then, very little is.
