[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The Flag of Courage

I am the flag of courage so carry me with pride. I shall make the final statement to the moment when you tried. There are many coloured ribbons for the deeds that are done. Yup, I’m a little better today. This stomach ache thing is new to me and I haven’t known what to do about it but not eat and that doesn’t feel good, either. With new meds and new diet, I can’t help but suspect it’s the changes the doctor ordered.

It’s another beautiful day in the neighborhood and I plan on taking advantage of it.

I am well today, thank you. Gorgeous day today-three days of sunshine in a row, wow. I will go out side to soak up the sun and putter in the garden.

I am hoping we are over the hump now and really into the Spring thing. Before we know it Summer will be here.

Oh, glad to hear your stomach thing is not a virus, meds usually always upset my stomach.

The blood thinner I have to take is one of the meds that burn my tummy. Can’t take any milk with that med. Then there’s one I take with disallows grapefruit in any form. I think I should get some Ensure and just be liquid all the way, it has all the nutrients one needs. Let's both enjoy the sunshine, it's been a long haul on the Eastcoast.

You are 100% right, as usual. I take something where I’m not supposed to have grapefruit, but I forget which.

Also I take one where I’m not supposed to go out in the sun. Like you said, maybe Ensure is the way to go...

Well guess what, I am going out into the sun!

Having taken that sunless one for years and being fair of skin, I must tell you I have never had the rash associated with too much sun and that med.

When I first started trying to identify all the birds I see, I was surprised to find that the bird I had thought was a sparrow, was instead a female house finch.
