Sorry Carolyn, I just don't believe that. He may say it, but I've studied his propaganda enough. I don't buy his BS, never will.
Sorry for the length, but since Virgie's role in the delay was the topic du jour, it seemed relevant to post what was stated by some of the individuals who actually know what's going on.
The only hysterical talking head was Nancy Grace and that was when the topic of money was mentioned. There were a few other attorney/pundits, but the rest of the interviews were comprised of Larry Birkhead's sister, LB's attorney Brown, LB's attorney Haas and GBT attorney 'Pro' Pinder. Other interviews related to the diaries of disputed origin/ownership.
Two video clips from Virgie's team were very informative:
The video statement of DON CLARK, the investigator employed on Virgie's team and
the following 'unidentified female' video clip is Deborah Susan Rose - FL/Bahamas - new counsel for guardianship/custody matters, replacing Halsbury Chambers group
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: As you will note from the record, my client applied for custody as of day one. Then her daughter died, and there were no definitive person of the father. She was the only known relative of Dannielynn, undisputable.
Did anyone else know that Virgie had applied for custody of Dannielynn before ANS died?
IMO, neither what Stern wants nor what Virgie wants should be obtained on the back of that child! They need to fight for their financial interests in the financial arena, not in the nursery.
Why are you taking HKS at his word? I truly don't understand. He perjured himself numerous times in Seidlin's court. There is no reason to believe him all of a sudden.

You’re probably correct, but when LB began the paternity issue, there was no ANS/Dannielynn estate, he was on his own with only legal bills.
I’ve read that Virgie was concerned and publicly warning ANS, why didn’t she join LB then to get the DNA test and drug tests on Anna and the baby? Together they might have saved them both. Now, I wish they’d do whatever necessary to save Dannielynn.
He can't be a toady and the puppeteer both.
Yep, that’s pretty darn dark. He may have been anticipating what eventually happened - if he had busted her while they were together. Bolting for the Bahamas is exactly what she did.
When he began seeking paternity, he had no way of knowing ANS would be dead (unless he and HKS have been working together all along).
None of these characters is above suspicion, IMO. LB just seems the least motivated by financial gain because of the timeline.

BAIRD: Well, I tell you, we went to the pediatrician`s office to do the collection. And fortunately, the justice here in the Bahamas allowed for the cheek sample to be taken, not a blood sample, so it`s sort of less invasive and painful for the child.
The baby was adorable, I got to tell you. It was 6 months old at the time. This was on March 21. It was squirmy. It was cute. I took buccal samples from her, two from the right cheek and two from the left cheek. And I got to tell you, one of the real kind of touching moments during that time was when Larry Birkhead, who was there present also during the collection, walked over to the baby, put out his finger and the baby grabbed it. So I think everyone in the room kind of, you know, let out a sigh.
Attorney Rose was commenting ‘on the run’, but there was no interruption in her statement in the clip I saw.
Perhaps I’m influenced by watching Hannity and Colmes, but most of the guests seemed almost lethargic rather than dramatic by comparison. The most animated discussion involved the diaries.
If posters didn’t have a difference of opinion, there’d be nothing to talk about. ;)

I love that quote. To get the full effect you really need to see Baird’s face when he made it. He just had the cutest smile. I could tell he liked Larry and was rooting for him. Dannielynn knows her daddy’s voice. I think Larry said that he would read stories or talk to her while she was in the tummy. Poor baby had to go 10 months without hearing his sweet voice. And during that time being bombarded with Goat’s monotonous braying and Anna’s drugged upped slurred mumblings.

I wonder if they have had a social worker go in and observe to see how attached Dannielynn “really” is to HKS. Maybe it’s my own bias but I don’t see it. From the videos that we’ve seen I don’t see any attachment. She’s probably more attached to Mrs. Gibson and not HKS.
That’s the thing that reeks..literally..he left her in that room and it’s disgusting to think that some of the vomit was days old. How could any of her so called friends leave her in that state?? Just unbelievable and now all the press is scared of Linwood so now they are trying to be his best friend. This man is indefensible!!
I am actually going by his actions; Larry is at the house all the time now — not living there but can come and go pretty much as he wants.... and Larry did not dispute that HKS was willing to make a quick transisition, so I am taking Larry more at his words and his attorneys and sisters words that the hold up is Virgie’s bid for full custody.
Oh - thought I did - will keep reading.
I blame Debra Opri for them not going to the Bahamas right away.... the baby was born in Bahamas and physically there, of course, Opri wouldn’t have $600K owed her if they have gone there, because she cannot practice there.
Well, if it was me I’d tell Virgie to fight HKS for the money all she wants, just let me have my baby.
