Okay, I am now looking at my legal papers for “guardianship” of my grandson.
It says:
And now, this (date), based upon the record, it is hereby ORDERED and DECREED that ........(my daughter’s name) and ..........(my name) are hereby appointed as Plenary co-Guardians of the Person and of the Estate of.........(my grandson’s name), a minor.
This was drawn up after my daughter’s husband died.
You know, I have another take on “The Cracker” that I’ll get into a little later. I am without my reference books, so I have to piece something together from online and hope I can find it.

Oh, I agree. But now that Larry is determined to be the father, O’Quinn is still talking joint custody, or as reported tonight, guardianship. I was assuming that all they had to determine was visitation now. But we’ll see what Virgie and O’Quinn really mean...perhaps next week?
Money? The money people are HKS and ANS. Ummm, Virgie doesn’t appear to be wanting money - just to be a grandmother. She worked hard for 28 years, against tremendous odds, just to have some peace and quiet.
I don’t know where this $$ thing comes from, except Anna. She and HKS set this all up to happen this way and cost a lot of people time, money, shattered nerves and aggravation, just because of their own love of money.

But getting into English History, Dickens and Shakespeare and English Law was an awfully big clue. I later discovered that in Anna's 1997 movie???... that it was laced with quotes from Shakespeare. Would love to find out what they were.
To be legally guaranteed her visitation rights, she has to be recognized by the courts - and that means she needs to be one of the guardians of the baby. That’s all.
It’s not a “shared” anything. The baby is Larry’s AND there is another guardian with minor rights - just visitation - all spelled out in writing, so there’s no overstepping of any boundaries.
Everybody involved is shell-shocked after the beating HKS and ANS perpetrated on them all. Who in the world can they trust?
Nope, I’ve got a better one and I should have realized it a lot sooner, but it’s obscure and I believe it came from HKS.

As for grandparents rights, I suppose this differs by state. In at last two states grandparents have certain rights - visitation? - if the parents are divorced or separated or one has died. The grandparents would not have these rights if the parents are married and together.

Yikes.. is that anywhere near Southlake or Lovefield. My son lives in Southlake and works at the airport.
