KE said in a later interview (not the first day) that she feared Anna had aspirated, when HKS called her and said ANS had died. “Is she dead, Howie?” So, vomitus was on KE’s mind, like it is so many others when thinking upon KE and HKS.
Definitely not plastic ones. I tried cotton at night, but it just irritates it more, even with half a tube of cream slathered on.
I wrap them in gauze when I have to go to the store or something, because they are ugly-looking and quite susceptible to outside elements. It’s pretty awful.
I know others have more worries in this world that are much worse. But this is *mine* at the moment.

Hey, Liz - we had snow here also this morning - I missed it but was told it covered roofs and cars and the ground at 5:30 AM....most snow we've had all winter.

You’re right Rte66. DL does look like the Gerber baby. Her little nose is almost identical.
I’m sure HKS has plans for capitalizing on all kinds of baby photos for DL, with lots of $$$$$’s for him and Bon Bon. ;)

Another interesting item in this re-enactment is there is no mention of Brigette Neven. In some of the early reports Brigette is the one who notices there’s no movement from breathing. As time passes, Brigette disappears in the telling of the story.

LOL! The “hills” are so very beautiful. They played the music while driving through them. We saw the mansion on the lake, ran around the fountain, visited the gazebo, monastery and cemetery (where the “hiding” would have taken place.) However the cemetery in the movie was a set. If I watch the movie, I’m sure I would recognize other scenes. There was also a path lined with trees...and an “archway” of trees...yes, I have to watch the movie again.
I’m not one for tours, but this one is a must. It’s impossible to see all the sites in the movie since they’re not all located near each other. And yes, it’s even more interesting to know that it’s a true story.
So sorry to hear about your hands! It must be horrible. Hope it gets better soon! Maybe Arizona Carolyn knows of something that might help.
