Thread Number 3
**Virgie appears to be arguing just the opposite of her arguments in Florida — that she should be appointed a guardian (partial or otherwise)**
IMHO, it’s just legal manuvering to outfox Stern - first point, unmarried fathers have no rights in Bahamas - second point - grandmothers do have legal rights in Bahamas - she is covering all bases in case the DNA test came out badly, as any LEO would...
p.s., not sure if it was Stlnative or Rte66 who posted Bahama law re: unmarried fathers for us some time ago
I agree with you Howlin
Where ya been? We missed you!
“it would be so fitting if the paternity, custody and eviction all came down in the same week.
Justice will finally have been served...
Larry can now move forward with the estate and can file in California as soon as he is given custody...
things are looking so very glum for HKS... hopefully HKS can be fired from the Marshall case too.”
The makings of a wonderful week...
She took Daniel because ANS was a freak.
This baby has a good father who should be allowed to raise her without “input” from Virgie.
Virgie needs to realize that she makes the final decision and not the lawyers. They only want her to pursue it because so they can get some cut. Larry and yuck..Howie need to take that child to the US embassy and apply for US citizenship.
There are mucho cases where Grandparents are given “rights” to a relationship with their grandchildren. Happens everyday. Usually, it’s a husband wife conflict that gets out of hand....Me or your mother.
So does John Edwards.
LOL, well, I don’t know...but I agree with ya!
My grandparents on both sides helped raise me... trust me when I say this --- this doesn't replace living with the real parent that loves and cares for you and for a girl, more than anything, you need a father and a strong bond with your father -- in the end it is the strong father/daughter bond that will give this child the wherewithall not to end up like her mother.
Thanks!!
Ya-HOOTY....Larry’s the DADDY!
Once Larry gets in that house and gets his hands on his daughter, he should stay put! No way should he leave her alone with that squatting Goat! He’s got his sister and sister in law there with him....both moms of small kids...Dannilynn has no need for the Gibson clan. She has her family with her, now.
I don’t think he can have possession of assets that she bought.
My dream is Howie escaping by boat and the Coast Guard running him down.
THEN YOU'LL SEE HIS FACE CHANGE!!
**well this should have been settled a week after DL was born**
i believe, calif law says that the action for paternity cannot be brought until 30 days after the child is born? can’t file prior to birth? (baby may not survive 30 days, or some other ancient obscure rule)
Birkhead/Opri had to follow the law step by step in trying to get that pat test...dozens of motions..half a dozen court orders..and stern knew that IMO
I really hope Larry decides to raise her in Kentucky.
Sure they are. I did.
The visitation issue for grandparents is up in the air per the Supreme Ct. Seems it goes state by state as far as grandparents' rights to visitation. Supreme Court lets stand grandparent-visitation issue.
I hope LB and Virgie can work out a fair and reasonable visitation schedule without any need for litigation! I'm not sure whether it will all be worked out in the Bahamas or could it spill over to the state where LB and DL will be living? Still California, at this point?
Exactly. Remember initially HKS and Anna were denying any type of romantic relationship with LB. They were painting him as some psycho stalker. Larry was the first to break that she was pregnant and I’m glad he did because it reinforced when Anna made the announcement that he would have been privy to that information.
