As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Globull warming has struck.
Measureable snowfall in Northern Virginia for the first time in 17 years. There is a total of 0.3" on the deck; in 1990, it snowed 1.1". All raised surfaces are white. (NWSFO Sterling, officially, says the snowfall is a "trace", meaning less than 0.05", but maybe that's at the airport...) Algore--wish to explain this?
One of those "fringe" scientists who isn't "with the program", one who might actually know a thing or two about the subject, Dr. Gray--who is probably the leading hurricane climatologist in the world--called Algore a "gross alarmist". More to the point, Dr. Gray also said: He's one of these guys that preaches the end of the world type of things. I think he's doing a great disservice and he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Certainly, looking out the window and seeing white everywhere as the middle of April looms, yes, I agree, Algore doesn't know what he's talking about.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning! A nice, balmy, 32.7F here. April?? In Virginia??
First?
25 Degrees here.
I read that Algore was flying to Tenn. this weekend, and so I checked the weather for his home in Nashville. With tonight and tomorrow night temps in the 20s there, he will be up to his eyeballs in carbon emissions....no doubt bringing on a heat wave. HA.
Thank you Mr. Chairman, and thank you, Dr. Gray!!

Raven, so you'll close on Monday??
Yup! 20 degrees with the big round yellow thing shining.
Thanks, everyone. Dad looked great after his surgery.
Being concerned with the canned pet foods, I made a mixture of rice, carrots and liver for the pets to mix in with the dry food. Guess whose nose is outta joint? That darn black cat. ;-) The other 5 love it, but he’s walking around pouting and refusing to eat.
Thanks for getting us started Chair, and thanks for the links Molly.

Good morning.
Good Morning.
Such good news about your Dad, lysie.
I slept a full 9 hrs last night. And quite frankly, I’m feeling a bit hung over from all the sleep.

Good morning. I’m even further south - SC - and it’s in the 30’s here. It’s going to be 25 degrees tonight.
Newt Gingrich is debating John Kerry next Tuesday at 10:00 on the issue of global warming.
Well, I am going to have to explain something to my priest this morning when we polish brass.
Thursday night I told him I couldn’t go to the Good Friday service. He called late last night to tell me one of the Altar Guild members fell off her horse and broke her arm.
The problem is my husband answered the phone, thought Fr. C was a neighbor and started talking with him. LOL. Pete had a colonoscopy yesterday afternoon and was still a little under the effects of the anesthesia, but I hadn’t thought it was appropriate to tell Fr. C as we were eating dinner why I wouldn’t be at Friday’s service :-)
But I’ll tell him this morning.
You are now on record as doing more research regarding Al Gore than most other mainstream journalists!
Are you feeling better this morning?
LOL! More research results: Tuesday’s weather in DC when Gingrich and Kerry debate global warming....chilly 57 high and 38 low. Their arrival for the 10am debate will no doubt require overcoats...perhaps even ear muffs. LOL
Ear muffs. You’ve already had your coffee :-)
Thanks for the reminder about Tuesday; I’m going to call the hairdresser and try and re-schedule Tuesday’s appointment so I can be on the live thread for the Gingrich/Kerry global warming debate.
Time for me to pull out the winter clothing for this morning.
Looks like the Easter Bunny will need a pair of mittens tonight.
I did see a cottontail rabbit running across the yard a little while ago.
Hmmmmmmmm.........
