My GOE picture story (LOTS of pictures)

I know, it's been two weeks. Sorry, my thesis took precedence over getting my pictures uploaded.

March 17, 2007: Gathering of Eagles. This is my picture story from the Pentagon. Me and ishabibble walked straight into the group of unwashed hippies harassing the police.

I'm not really clear what this guy's point was. His sign was just weird. I can't see exactly what the sign says but the beginning of it is "Those who want peace, go to the peace table. Those who want war..." (I can't read the rest.)



Some more unwashed hippies. Over the fence, you can see one of the cops on top of the wall. There was a line of them but I didn't get a good picture.



The cop cars were lined up.





There was a line of cops in what I guess is full riot gear. Bullet proof vests, helmets, shields...



Here you can see the line of cops. And the protesters they were blocking.

This guy was standing on the side of the road, banging on a metal bucket (or something). I have no idea what the purpose of this was.



There was a ton of trash on the ground. This particular paper was from The World Can't Wait. It said something about how George Bush is going to destroy the world or something paranoid like that.

Great pictures...that was a LOT of cops! I suppose when they are dealing with domestic terrorists like Fonda and Sheehan, they had their jobs cut out!

The thing that surprised me the most was the fully armed cops lined on the top of the Pentagon. When we left, the row of cops on the ground was considering using tear gas.

That's kind of scary...except we all know, of course, that the only people who would need tear gas would be the anarchists!

I am sure the cops were cheering you guys on...if only in their minds.

Lol I was thinking that too. The key to any sign is short and sweet. This guy had like a paragraph. No one was reading that thing.

Yeah, we did stop to thank the cops for being there. I wouldn't have wanted their job.

It would have been a very stressful job for them, I am sure.

Probably. And I'm sure the MSM would've loved a "look at what this evil little girl did to the brave protesters" story.

Yeah, for people who claim to be SO concerned about the environment, they sure are slobs.

That is only one way that they reveal their hypocracy...but it is a very visable one!

They say they only want "peace", but go out of their way to be very un-peaceful in their methods.

What the spoiled brats want is their way in all things...sorry charlie! Not happening as long as there are FReepers!

Yeah, really! They were supposedly advocating peace but they were harassing the police. It's just ridiculous that they get away with claiming to be peace advocates.

What was going on that they were considering tear gas-
was it when the no violence - no war boys and girls attempted the rush the line of LEOs with their garbage can shields?

Hey, I saw that black SUV with it's lights whirling in the Pentagon parking lot when I got lost Friday night ; )
