FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
Absolutely not. I do like how the minority slapped down this attempt last week. The dims were terrified of the compromise amendment that was put forward.
The District should be reverted to Maryland.
"District should be reverted to Maryland."
Yup.
Republicans, conservatives - vote no.
Meanwhile, back in the States, I was bunglin' in the Jungle.
No. If they want reps, they should be reabsorbed into the State of Maryland, from which they were created, at which time the Fed open money faucet gets shut down.
Yes 365 (13.38%)
No 2363 (86.62%)
Let D.C. residents vote in Maryland, as the district was formed from Maryland. This would be a good compromise, giving them voting rights without having to add a representative or the chance of 2 senators being added from D.C. alone.
How about when Washington D.C. quits getting back $6.61 in federal expenditures for each $1.00 they pay in?
Try and get somewhere near the next highest (New Mexico $2.00) and then we can talk to them like adults.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
Right. But why would Maryland want it??
Absolutely no idea.
LOL! My thought, exactly. :)
"why would Maryland want it??"
Good point!
