Questions we would like to see asked of Algore this morning as he tries to testify before the Senate regarding globull warming:
Mr. Gore: You have said several times that we have 10 years to act to stave off global warming. Was that 10 years from the first time you said that or 10 years from now? We just wanted to get a firm date from you that we can hold you to.
Mr. Gore: How can you continue to claim that global warming on Earth is primarily caused by mankind when other planets (Mars, Jupiter and Pluto) with no confirmed life forms and certainly no man-made industrial greenhouse gas emissions also show signs of global warming? Wouldn’t it make more sense that the sun is responsible for warming since it is the common denominator?
Mr. Gore: Joseph Romm, the executive director for the Center for Energy and Climate Solutions, has said we must build 700 large nuclear plants to stave off climate change. Where do you stand on the need for nuclear energy?
Mr. Gore: Do you think the earth is significantly overpopulated and that is a major contributor to your view of climate change. (If yes, what do you think is a sustainable population for the planet?)

It's finally peaceful here. Daughter and family left yesterday. Still tackling mountains of laundry and sucking up a gazillion crumbs.

Our power just came on after having been off for over 6 hours. I find it a bit challenging to freep by candlelight.
I'm up because of the cats and dogs, but I'm headed back to bed soon.

That photo...that incident in Portland....makes me ill....I wonder if the community there will express a collective outrage for that action?? One would hope so.
Molly, I agree, that incident in Portland was beyond disgusting (which is all I can say here as my real feeling would get me banned if I were to put them in print). I also hope the community expersses their outrage, but I have to say, I won't be holding my breath waiting for it, or for it to be reported...
Sore, real sore, disc up about 10 acres yesterday for a neighbor and today, taking the tractor and do so things around the church.
