AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 2245 and 2246) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 17, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 03/17/2007 6:04:26 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

A late-season winter storm caused havoc and numerous flight cancellations along the Atlantic seaboard. In Washington, snow totals were generally between 1 and 3 inches, but this approaches (though doesn's surpass) records for this late in Winter. Where's Algore?

Not in Boston, anyhow--but nevertheless, as activists were preparing to start a globull awareness walk, mother nature intervened with a powerful snowstorm.

Iran has stated it will not bow to international pressure to stop its atomic development efforts. Iran's President stated the UN has no legitimacy to force it to stop--at the same time asking the UN to protect Iran's right to proceed.

And, lysie, thanks for getting us going yesterday--I arrived safely home yesterday afternoon, just before the ice started ramping up locally.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I saw it on BYU channel, I watch the music part as it is wonderful and one day while 'fliping' I saw the program on that channel. Direst TV has that channel, as I said, the music and musicals are just wonderful. O think is is BYU,com. or maybe .org. I know you start the seeds on soil and at acertain stage put it in the growing system. It is no more than PVC pipe about 4" around with holes drilled in the top and both ends closed with caps.

I'd park 3 or 4 Ohio's off Iran's coast and then warn Imanutjob that the next time an American soldier or Marine is harmed by their hambaked mustard gas, the boomers go to town...

Happy St. Paddy's Day from this Scots-Irishman. I hate the NCAA presentation by CBS. They jump from a potentially thrilling upset to another game...

Looking at your postmark: the Germans were more afraid of Patton than any other Allied general, which is why he was 'allegedly' in charge of Operation Fortitude. His charge across France with the 3rd Army give some substance to their fears. Postwar remarks by German generals bear this out....

Patton was the greatest general we had during WWII. And yes, that includes over McArthur, too.
Although I better not say that too loud over here. McArthur is almost a god over here.

I'll tell him, but actually you just told him, too. Ya' see, he lurks on the thread frequently, but he is to busy sendy lovey-dovey notes filled with kissy-faces to a certain young lady over the internet to actually speak to us! LOL!

Advice for the day: If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: "Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children."

If you can find it, I think it's out of print, check out "There's A War To Be Won" by Geoffrey Perret, which cover the US Army in WW2. It's definitely a fun read, and as an old Army vet, it's a proud read. And it drags MacArthur, deservedly, through the mud, while showing the brilliance, and faulters of Patton...
