We believe in Global Warming
the Sea-Raiser, the All-Powerful,
maker of tsunami and hurricane,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Cause, The Activities of Man,
the lowest of all creatures,
except the ones that are brown.
Gasses from Coal, not Recycling from Blight, true Cause from true Gasoline, made, not begotten, of Driving when One Could Walk; through Man all pollutions were made.
For us and for our salvation
Gore came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Nader
and the Virgin Chomsky
and became truly political.
For our sake he was un-elected
under Pontius Harris;
he suffered defeat and was retired.
On the third year he rose again
in accordance with the Documentatrians;
he ascended into Hollywood
and is seated at the right hand
of the Film Executives.
He will come again in glory
to judge the polluting and the recycling,
and his kingdom will have a biodegradable end.
We believe in Global Warming, the Destroyer,
and the taker of life,
who proceeds from the Car and the Industry,
who with the Suburbs and the Factory Farm
is worshiped and glorified,
by the prophets of GREED.
We believe in the scientists who agree with us
and our beliefs.
We accept the starvation of Billions,
for the forgiveness of environmental sins.
We look for the return to subsistence farming,
and the whole grain life of the world to come.
Amen.
thought you might find this interesting/amusing
Now if you had one of those for Beringia....
Elmer Gore-try ping!
Sorry, my money is on the sun god, Ra.
Rah, Rah, RA!
Global Warming is caused by the Sun. Even if your globe is Mars.
Fabulous, KAC! It points out how the left has made this their religion. I look forward to reading and seeing more that debunks this particular cult!
That would kinda explain why he has swollen up like a blimp in the last few years ...
That's what the evidence is leading up to...a solar wide global warming thanks to good ol' Sol.
How about the Whole Earth with the sea levels reduced by about 320 feet. Some say the water WW was reduced by 500 feet...most accept about 400 feet.
Lady Jag, where DO you find these things?
That is cool...I love these graphics you find!
The principle "Greenhouse Gas" is water vapor, contributing 95% of the effect on a global scale. Man's activity may correspond to one percent of the total contribution.
But water vapor at high levels produces clouds, which mitigate the effects of increased solar radiation by reflecting sunlight.
Those who have faith in a caring creator will see the alarmism as not only a hoax of the highest magnitude, but also an attempt to displace the creator with an upstart creature, (Mankind), incapable of having major effects on a global scale.
We rank far behind insects and herbivores, (and probably beavers and coral plankton), for our large-scale effects on the planet.
What? Are you mitigating all the impact of all the cows we as a species raise? And all the termites we manage to feed with our homes? LOL!
There is knowledge based on science and there is knowledge based on belief in science (or what someone teaches as science.)
Lots of people don't really understand the one from the other.

(I really recommend everyone's reading this article!)
"Today the Earth has 148 million sq. km of land area, of which 16 million sq. km is covered by glaciers. A sea level rise of 66 meters would flood about 13 million sq. km of land outside Antarctica. Without polar ice, Antarctica and Greenland would be ice free, although about half of Antarctica would be under water. Thus, ice-free land would be 128 million sq. km compared to 132 million sq. km today.
As a result, in terms of total habitable land area, the Earth might have more than today. The coastal areas reclaimed by the sea would be mostly offset by now habitable areas of Greenland and Antarctica. Again, remember that such climate change would take thousands of years. Over such time scales vegetation would be restored to newly ice-free regions even without human activity. Also, vast areas which are now desert and tundra would become more fit for human habitation and agriculture." -- Wm. Robert Johnston
One thing the "Post Toasties" don't consider: that if man were not about, affecting other animals, much of the Earth would be covered by grassland and ungulates, with all the "emissions" that entails.
Remember the American West, with its millions and millions of bison?
(I was joking, you know....)
Of course! Part of my style is to treat jokes seriously, and treat serious matters lightheartedly.
That way, no one ever knows quite how to take me ...
