Appellants contest the district courts dismissal of their complaint alleging that the District of Columbias gun control laws violate their Second Amendment rights. The court held that the Second Amendment (A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed) does not bestow any rights on individuals except, perhaps, when an individual serves in an organized militia such as todays National Guard. We reverse.
Thus rules the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
My son in PA says his power company reported the average temperature there for this winter has been 30 degrees.
You're in the top 10, my Chocolate Temptress... ;^)
We took Jason to prayer meeting last night at our church, wow, he started off as a terror, ended up a saint, he feel asleep.
Already working on it.... ;^)
Going into town today to look over the inventory of veggie plants at the stores, gotta disc up the plot, row it and plant some plants. I will try the upside down tomatoes this year, see what happens.
I'm sick this a.m...some bug has gotten to me, so it's back to bed.
Enjoy the day, everyone.
Good morning to everybody!
Toby, God knows when little boys need to sleep.
Rest and get well soon.
Well, Dog says he's coming out with a top 10, so I have to follow suit. But you're still in the top 5... ;^)
Sorry to hear you're under the weather today. Listen to your body and sleep when it tells you it's tired.
Feel better soon.
That rain and subsequent flood last week caused many of our creeks to alter their course. This one now goes right through a neighborhood and washed out portions of homes and streets. This is one intersection in that neighborhood.
The people in this neighborhood have no running water, definitely no potable water. So, officials are now bringing in tankers for people to fill their jugs. But still you come across scenes like this:
The kids are playing in the creek in the middle of the street. There is a definitely possibility that malaria and dengue fever will increase with all the stagnant water, plus outbreaks of typhoid, cholera, tetanus and dysentery. We're doing what we can to help.
LOL
That's it, no more chocolate for you!!!
Hope you get better fast, Molly.
We're scheduled to leave for Florida tomorrow morning to visit with my brother and his family for a few days. I'll drive since Mr. P feels so flue-like in the morning but then gets better as the day goes along.
Wishing you safe travels, if I don't "see" you again.
>>Do you have access to the maps that show the Co2 levels & temps using data gleened from the ice borings?
