Thanks God twice!Wonderful! Didn't Jennifer Hudson "come out of nowhere"? Meaning she's not really a professional actress?

I loved "Suicide Kings"! Very dark comedy with Walken tied to a chair with a finger cut off, but playing cards with his kidnappers while Leary kicks ass trying to find him.
"Ira, you're the man..."
Very off the track movie, but worth watching...

an honorary oscar? Is that one for someone who doesn't deserve it but fits their political mold, or someone who didn't get it before because they were busy giving someone who didn't deserve it but made a political point and won so the right person missed out on the award?

Reign of Fire was another trifecta: Butler, Bale and, McConnehay-whatever.

The little bit that I caught surfing actually upset me a bit. The violence was too gratuitous...since it was a based on a comic book...it was over-the-top imo.

Is anyone else not attracted to Clooney? I don't get his appeal He sold himself as a male sex symbol because he's nothing but a B actor

You are way over-sensitive, just like me.
My antenna is always out for any anti-Bush or anti-conservative stuff, bug I didn't get that.
In fact, I didn't get his drinking joke at all, did anybody?

Haven't seen it. But I remember Hudson from American Idol. She was a genuine sweetheart... or at least that's how she came across after editing and stuff.

HOs are for people who have never won but have had a great career. Most of them go to people who are up in age and may die before they win a real one.

You're kidding right? She went from American Idol, being cut at #7, and dismissed by judge Simon as someone we'd never hear from again to sweeping the awards. A first time actress, her shock is geniune.
Stop being a race-card jerk.
