Good for them. One of my favorite lines is from that movie:
"Well, that's MUCH more better!"
Depp is an idiot in real life, but I do like the characters he plays.

The peak of his career was when he froze to death in Titanic. No, I predict that in about another 25 years or so, he'll do another remake of "The Alamo", and play Davy Crockett. That'll be the peak of his career, even though Davy wasn't bald.
It's a premonition I had late on a 13 hour drive between Lafayette, LA and Daytona, FL almost 10 years ago.

The other thread is for people who love movies and don't want to just make sarcastic comments.
That lets us out.

Ellen interacting with audience again, but it got pretty funny when she was helping Spielberg with his photography skills. Ellen's the only part of this show that has any life to it
It's a really lame Academy Awards show from what I've seen of it

I like Clive, but this is the reason I'll be seeing "300" on opening day:

Where has Gerry been in "The Phantom?" Forget that pipsqueak lunatic Tom Cruise, Gerry, Daniel Craig, and Clive Owen should be the major stars these days.

Actually, just caught a short bio feature on Johnny Depp on the cable channel the other day. He was chosen as one of today's replacement icons...but damn...can't remember which one.
He never plays it safe. He is, IMO the greatest actor alive today.
I think he's the reason Leonardo DiCaprio is branching out and challenging his art.
