We're going to have 19 months of this. The inevitable whining:
"...I don't like Guiliani on gun control..."
" I don't like McCain's campaign finance reform..."
"...Romney's no good on illegal immigration "
" Duncan Hunter's teeth are crooked "
Blah blah blah blah blah
Bottom line is this: You need to ask yourself, for whatever problem or issue is most important to you, are Democrats the answer?
By all means, support your guy in the primaries. But when Nov '08 gets here, you need to hold your nose if necessary and support the R candiate. Any of this ..I'm staying home to send a message and teach them a lesson nonsense, and you'll wake up to "President elect Clinton"
Bottom line is this: I'm not voting for anyone that's going to make me a criminal, or claims that either myself, or my fellows are. If the candidate(s) doesn't support Freedom, they deserve neither respect, or a vote.

If the Rs don't respect their fellows enough to make sure the candidate does respect and promote Freedom, then they deserve the hen! If they don't make sure tha candidate maintains a solid position on parental rights, fights the use of tax money for abortions and research done with aborted parts, and respects the true meaning of the 1st and 2nd Amend, they deserve the hen. It's my observation, that they'd sell their own grandmother to slavers, because they're so damn afrraid of the jihadi boogyman, Freedom itself, and interested in what they personally can benefit financially from supporting a particular candidate.
If the Rs vote for a candidate that doesn't respect Freedom, then I'm doing a write in for Bugs Bunny. Let the wisdom of the blowhards backing gun grabbers, and socialist central planners, bite them in the ass.
Speling, the toole of Huntr.
I really do understand where you're coming from but I guess what I'm trying to say is that GWB was not the first choice of many conservatives but when he became the Republican candidate I was more than happy to vote for him as apposed to Algore or John efffin Kerry. I don't ever want to relive the 2000 election debacle.
:-). Doesn't take much to make us happy, does it!
Wow. Proudly announcing no standards at all.
What's wrong with tube socks?
You didn't get the memo did you? ;)
I have MAJOR issues with Ron Paul's position on the War on Terror.
