Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
"All of these mysteries lead back to him." per Geraldo on Stern.
It was reported at the time Daniel died.

Well, I for one, am very saddened hearing of her death. I think Anna Nicole didn't have much support from those around her. And her son's passing? Just was heartbreaking.
I had a good friend commit suicide a few years ago after years of her ex hounding her in court. This feels very familiar.
My prayers for her soul. Very, very sad.

Easy enough to confuse, particularly for those of us who remember Howard K. Smith. Not long ago, I made the same mistake when the subject of Anna Nicole Smith and her lawyer came up in conversation here at the office. Of coure, when I said "Howard K. Smith," all the youngsters were rather puzzled. Some of them probably weren't even born when Smith was a newscaster on ABC.

Yes, the baby was born with Methadone in her system... said Stern knew Daniel and Anna Nicole were both using Methadone. I rememberd Larry Birkhead saying something about this last fall when Gretta interviewed him.
