Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Suspicious. But, if there was drugs, if HKS follows suit as in Daniel's death, they disappeared before CSI arrived.
Her ultimate legacy may yet be the final end of the estate tax. Look, she's suing for what, $800 mill..give or take..she hasn't gotten it yet..the suit will continue, her estate wil carry on. And obviously, especially since she's Anna Nicole, I'd wager that she hasn't done any estate planning...so if her estate gets the $800 mill, or whatever, then the IRS..and whatever state she's a resident of, will take about 55% of it..give or take...Hard to explain why that's fair....
It's really sad for FR, isn't it?
Some people just get off on trashing any and everybody.
What Horatio is there already. Good to hear the full story should be known within the hour. (sarcasm off)
I've also never watched American Idol, Deal or No Deal, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Oprah, CSI or the Sopranos. (though I do watch Smallville and Stargate SG1 and reruns of the Munsters)
Somehow I have survived.
Boward County is Ft. Lauderdale. Do you mean Brevard County (Cocoa Beach, Canaveral)?
-PJ
Cleaning crew.
It will be interesting to see what he does in the next few hours.
Wanna bet he calls Larry King tonight?
Who knows when they will ever get that test now. Meantime the baby is likely being kept away from a father that desperately wants his daughter to have a good home.
"I really liked her. RIP, dear girl."
I did, too. She was a "throwaway" as a child...had a real sad childhood....no guidance....no role models.
Sure, some people turn their lives around, but without the proper guidance, some can't do it. Then, after meeting up with this Stern guy...she didn't have a chance.
As one who's made one or two posts over the years that .5 seconds of hindsight proved regrettable, allow me to offer a procedural suggestion:
Return to the post you're not fond of, click the 'Report Abuse' link under your posting name, send the mods a short note asking that it be removed and they'll most likely accomodate your request...
Hollywood is in Broward County. Orlando, where the astronaut incident occurred is in Orange county. These two places are over 200 miles apart.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is on Seminole Reservation land.
Flame me for the comparison if you must, but how old was Marilyn Monroe when she died? I believe she was roughly the same age, no?
But Mariska was lucky enough to have a good father to raise her.... not so certain in this case if HKS manages to pull off keeping her from Larry Birkhead.
This should be very interesting!
Monroe was 36 when she died.
Wonder where he will spirit that baby off to now?
Do they have their own laws? Was she there so she couldn't be served with any court papers?
Like you said, it's always the usual suspects, too.
