'Girls can be hot and be in engineering'

Miss January -- wearing only a G-string thong -- says she likes tattoos and Harley Davidsons. Miss July -- appearing in pink lingerie and a lab coat -- says she likes going to the beach but also the book
Anna Karenina. Miss February likes taking naps, live music -- and "fun science demos." Like a Playboy pinup collection, this 2007 calendar features a dozen scantily clad models. But these students at the University of Illinois aren't your typical models.
The women in the "Girls of Engineering" calendar were accepted to the Downstate campus' nationally ranked engineering program, where students on average scored a 31 on the ACT college entrance exam and graduated in the top 12 percent of their high school classes.

Yeah we had the same girls freshman year of engineering school.
They mostly got 'Masters of Residential Science' degrees (commonly called Mrs.) Curiously usually with soon to graduate upperclassmen or grad students.
I remain convinced girl geeks are like unicorns. Mythical creatures. You know someone who claims to have met one once. A few years ago you new lots on non-geek girls claiming the title. But invite them to a true geek fest and watch them run for the exits like...a girl at a geek fest. Tell them a geek joke and watch them stare back at you. (What does 'on a blank disk you can seek forever mean?', never even heard of an eight inch floppy.)

I remain convinced girl geeks are like unicorns. Mythical creatures. While we had our fair share of bowwows, one girl was SMOKING hot. Smart enough to graduate, but not so bright. Damn, she was HOT, tall, blonde, blue eyed, and spoke Quebecois french. there's something about a chick talking about thermodynamics in french.

I feel my coefficient of dynamic friction decreasing. Yeah, put that together with the "Math Class is hard"...
and soon you'll be discussing such topics as:
 --Simple Hormonic Motion
 --Forbidden Crossings
 --Repeating Osculators
 --Degenerate Modes
 --Classically Forbidden Barrier Penetration (tunneling)
 ...and much, much more!
 Cheers!

When we did the concrete canoe competitions, Wentworth brought the Cosmetics Engineering students for their female participants.

There was only one girl in the philosophy department when I was at school. We all tried to prove she didn't exist.
