Am I the only person who has a problem with the refs re-spotting that pass to Witten on the 1 yard line? What would have been 1st and goal at the 1 became 4th and 1 from the 2.

I've never seen replay used to spot the ball.

I just heard the radio call on ESPN radio. That announcer said it was a bad snap and he repeated himself again a few seconds later.

I saw the game and didn't think there was anything wrong with the snap and apparently Parcells didn't think it was a bad snap either.

Hmmmm....

Drug addicts are part of the Jones legacy in Dallas, what's happened in Cinci and who's picked up Dallas' trash has no bearing on it. Jones picked up a load of players with serious discipline problems that got in a lot of trouble off the field but all was forgiven because of their success on the field. When the honest history book is written about the Jones years there's going to have to be a chapter about cocaine.

Well, you've seen it now. And it was fair...he definitely did not make the first down.

Owens had, again, a couple of big drops. He just doesn't seem to have the hands this year.

I think that was Michael Boulware(sp), #27. ESPN showed the tackle at least 5 times in a row.
Not that I cared who won the game, I do feel a bit sorry for Tony Romo. After playing so well at first it all came creshing down on him.

True enough. I'll still revel in it, though.

So will Hollywood Henderson be Tom Landry's honest history?

I might actually get something productive done.

A guy was sitting at the bar, nursing a beer, when a drop dead gorgeous girl sits down next to him. She leans over close to his ear and in a breathy whisper says, "I'll do anything you want for $200."

He thought hard for a minute, reached for his wallet and took out $200.

"Paint my house." he said.

Of course, Seahawks are a good team, they've struggled this year but they've got guts. And they blewup their dome, they'll always get mad props from me for ceasing to be a dome team.

I have seen reviews for the spot of the ball plenty of times. It didn't look to me like he had gotten the first down, and I was praying that the gift of the spot wouldn't be looked at!

I wonder if he'll even be back next year. Parcells so obviously wants to get rid of him.

The NFL, bad things happen at the wrong time. They did better this week with self scouting. Rebuild both lines, and get ready for next year.

2007-2008, At home, We will get New England, NY Jets, Green Bay, Minnesota, St Louis Rams, Philly, NY Giants, and Washington.

We will go away to, Miami, Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Carolina, Philly, NY Giants, and Washington.

I've seen them use replay to respot the ball several times. It's seldom used as a coach's challenge because it's usually not worth risking a timeout, but it does happen that way and also with official reviews too.

Did Romo fumble during his race to the end zone (after fumbling the snap) or did the refs rule that he was down? If the former, it was a very bad spot -- the fumble was picked up by a Seattle defender and returned to the 7 yard line, but the ball was spotted at the 1 1/2.

But the next play from scrimmage (Alexander's big run) made it a moot point anyway.
