SNOWY! I got moderately stuck in 4wd at the top of my driveway coming home on Wed, and proceeded to plow the top layer of the fresh snow with the front of my car. There is probably 2' on my roof, I'll see if I can get some pics tomorrow and post them.
The days are getting noticeably longer though.

It looks beautiful there. I'd like to visit someday. Just not in the winter. As a true Southerner, I tend to start whimpering when the temperature gets below 55 or 60. :)

This is something I really want to do someday, and have wanted to for some time. There are some really good pics on this site too.

I lived through 17+ years of Ohio winters with the temps often in the teens or below. So be thankful you live in the South lol.

I'm sorry to hear about that. On the other hand, I think you're in the right field! If you have ever had thoughts about moving to Alaska, you can send me your resume.

My New Year's was fine. Kinda boring. The plate was put in last July. So I guess it was in for about five months. When I had it put in, the doctor there said it would have to be in for at least a year but my worker's comp person assured my mother that it was perfectly fine at my age to get it out sooner than that, especially since the bone was healed and the plate was causing problems.
Yikes! That sounds a lot more painful than mine was. I just tripped and twisted my ankle. (Still have no clue how that managed to break it.) I hope he has a high tolerance for pain. Or a lot of pain meds.

Lol oh, you're so funny :P This is my excuse to be lazy for the rest of my life. I'm kinda sad that I don't have the plate in my ankle to use as an excuse anymore lol.

Alaska is too far away for me, but I'd love to find a big piece of land down here. Building my own log cabin would be okay but not that big a draw. The nice thing would just be living somewhere with no one to bother me.

Thanks for the offer. My thoughts about moving to Alaska ended about ten years ago. I hope that this field has plenty of jobs. I've done a little surfing for them, and I haven't found much.
