Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

Wasn't there a city that was designed in the form of an eight pointed star?

I'm not too sure. I thought you might be referring to Washington, DC, but Google also mentions the City of Enoch.

Maybe. I think it was in Europe and was suppose to resemble a "star that fell from heaven". I'll look it up tomorrow. I am turning into a pumpkin.
Night!

Too many cities in Europe are starting to resemble crescents...

Do what I do. Make something up. My imagination decided to stop working a while back, so that's rather difficult to do right now.

My brother was in the Air Force for 22 years, and my husband for 10, and that's just in my generation. (I was only a civil servant :-).
If Anoreth thinks the military is the right choice for her, we'll support it 110% (in public) and worry ourselves half to death (in private)!

BTW, The picture above is my kid sister, who spent 8 months pounding sand in the Gulf War.
I don't know if she realizes the irony of the fact she can join the VFW, and I can't. We were both active duty, but I never deployed from TX.
To: Professional Engineer
Try to be consoled by the possibility that you can still be a member of the American Legion.
I never got out of Texas, either.

My husband never went anywhere, either, in 10 years.

I went to boot in San Diego. "A" school in Tennessee. first duty station was Beaufort, SC. Went to Jet Engine school in Jacksonville, FL. Was deployed to Japan. Came back to Beaufort. Went to Japan again. Had orders to hit the Gulf during the Kuwati dust-up, but never made it "in theater". Finished out my tour in El Toro, CA.
How someone can go into the military and not "go anywhere" should be considered a minor miracle. Knock on some wood... ;-)

Der Prinz went to Biloxi, MS, for 12 weeks. Other than that, he spent the whole ten years posted at Lackland AFB.

It would seem to me, though it has been years since I had any affiliation with the VFW, that if you served in a time of war, you are eligible to join, whether you actually went overseas or not.

Hey, y'all!
I can't remember if I mentioned that Vlad got a new tooth for his birthday. (Thank you, Tooth Ferry!)
That makes seven!

I was in 2 years before I ever got to see the water (strange for a Navy squid)--all of it schooling--Florida, Idaho, and Connecticut...and even then it was almost another year before we got back to our home port in Hawaii. Of course it was our job to move around...
