what?
working on installing a new hard drive and a bunch of memory...
I wouldn't have the patience for that right now lol, I'd probably put it off until tomorrow.
Good points...
well, i gotta work tomorrow--so I'm trying to (hopefully) get as much of it done tonight as possible.
Basically, I'm going to attempt to put the new drive as the master and use the current 40GB one as the slave. 290GB of space total...
Then try to install 512MB RAM...
Things go well, I'd like to try to install Linux to the master drive...
decided i was too tired to dig into my computer, will probably do it tomorrow...

Oh snugs, that looks delicious. Did you make onion and sage stuffing or was it chestnut stuffing?
When I was little I can remeber we always left a Christmas box for the delivery/collection men. I grew up in catering - my parents owned a fish and chip shop. In those days prior to Christmas you always gave something to the postman, coalman, dustbin men (garbage collector) and of course the various delivery men.
It is a shame the traditions like that are dying out.
I have some donut mix in the cupboard will have to try it over the Christmas/New Year holiday
The trick is to make sure the oil is hot enough, otherwise the dough sucks up too much grease.
Thanks same tecnique as with British pancakes then.
Our pancakes are the size of a dinner plate and very thin made with a thin batter similar to the French Crepes but made with white flour.
Glad you could re post my Merry Christmas gif gift over here...LOL! Re: gif gifting!
yes, it was just perfect for the comment I made. thanks again. The only thing I do NOT like about tiny pix is there is NOT A NAME YOU CAN GIVE FILES.. so as lousy as I am with organization, unless I put it on my server, it will be "gone".. I think I saved it to my hard drive & so can eventually get it where it needs to be.
my mom made those also Eleanor.. either served like crepes or like pancakes w/syrup
her crapes had various fillings from apples sauce to carmelized pears... powder sugar sprinkle & sometimes a drizzle of brandy..
Why put your reply on the Singles Thread? A Thread I didn't/don't comment on...hhhmmn...Whatever...Wherever...I guess.
