No, it would've been the players that won it,

You are right. I was just thinking of the Trophy sitting in his Office, it sickens me. I always liked the little rivalry we had as both teams were model franchises, at least for the AFC at the time.

It sickens me too, but so does everything about the man and the team he did win it with.

what up...

big decision i have to make

on wednesday night, i have two choices:

1. go to a nice, homey-yet-slightly romantically themed christmas party (which there are a couple of girls who want me there)
2. go to the (nearly) sold-out game between Wisconsin and Wis.-Milwaukee (i managed to score tix)

party
game
party
game

Not sure, but he can use the 10 days between between games to allow his wrist to heal, and then see how he is.

Good point..

Although Wisconsin's ranked #11 and we're playing on the road...

Given UW's reputation...

Family traditions
Christmas Day - watching the Queens Speech just before eating Christmas Dinner
Open presents late afternoon
We had a homemade snowman (large old cylindrical tin with newsaper head covered with cottonwool, the tin coverd with cotton wool as well). This was then filled with a small present for each person and we had this at teatime.

Typical Christmas dinner
Joint of beef or pork
Roast Turkey or large chicken
Cranberry Sauce
Roast parsnips
Roast potatoes
Srouts and chestnuts
Forcemeat or sausagemeat stuffing inside the bird

Dessert
Christmas pudding and cream with dash of wiskey
Mince Pies (sweet mincement in small double crust pies)

I used to get up very early and watch Rolf Harris on TV he used to visit children in hopital I always loved that type of program on Christmas day.

One year my breakfast was top layer of a box of chocolates this was when I was in my twenties everyone else had lay in I got up and had cup of coffee/tea and top layer of box of Black magic (dark chocolate assortment).

Other traditions over the years come and go one mum and I did for a few years was treated ourselves to a proper cup of coffee made with filter (ground) coffee and real cream not milk.

Dad and I also did for a few years went to a local pub in the morning and met up with a few friends. This is quite a tradition in England for the men folk to go to the local pub or club in the morning whilst the women folk sort out the dinner - dying out now but used to be very traditional.

Getting dad to bed now will come back with more of mine and others traditions shortly or tomorrow

When I got into my teens it became a tradition to open the presents at midnight because dad was always late getting up and I think mum finally got fed up of trying to arrange dinner, presents opening etc.

So presents before we went to bed then leisurely preparing of dinner the following day to eat about 3.00pm after the Queen's speech.

If our local church had a service I often used to go to the carol service in the morning if dad and I were not out visiting friends.
