LIVE VIDEO: African Waterhole Cam
African Waterhole Cam ^

WOW! I find this LIVE CAM of an African Waterhole to be quite interesting. It is nighttime now but you can still see a few things like bright flying moths. In the daylight in a few hours big animals should appear. Right now lots of insects chirping.

I've watched that before, but had lost the link when my computer crashed last spring.
It is interesting to watch.

I think I just saw a pterodactyl fly by in the background.

I'm hearing grunting sounds. Is there a wild boar hiding out in the bushes? BTW, I already spotted a bat flying by.

I'm going to leave it up all night. Sounds of nature always put me to sleep.
Thanks!

Yeah. I love the sound of chirping insects. My New York city cousin doesn't. Years ago he visited me hear in Florida and woke me up in the middle of the night and told him the "choipin" was keeping him awake. I told him I didn't know what a "choipin" was. Only after several attempts of explanation in his gutteral Bronx did I realize he meant "chirping" as in insects chirping.
Right now I am hearing grunts that suspiciously sound like a couple of animals are rutting in the bushes.

I hope there is a thunderstorm at the water hole soon because the sound of thunderstorms put me to sleep.

You can see the same thing out the barracks at Parris Island South Carolina. Wild boar, alligators - all waiting to eat something.

Do you use the arrow keys to position the hunting rifle? I want to be ready when the game shows up.

I'm almost expecting to see the 2001 ape-men battling it out by the waterhole. Then one gets a clue and beats the competing ape-men with a bone that he throws into the air that turns into a space ship.

I would really love it if there were a deep sea web cam. I mean like 20,000 feet deep so we can watch the kewl glowing sea creatures 24/7. I hope they come up with that soon.

It will be better in the African morning (about 7 hours from now) when the bigger critters come out for water.

Something just swam up to the surface of the waterhole and then flew into the air.
