Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
The boys and I have polished off 2/3rds of a quart just this morning!
We love it!
Dannon plain whole milk. That's what I am eating and what I will use for my culture this afternoon.
[shudder]
I don't function in the morning without coffee. If the house were on fire, I think I still might have to brew up some coffee before going "outside".
:-)
Heh! I have my 72 hour kit that Steve is instructed to try to save in case of emergency. It's got food, water, and important documents.
It also has instant coffee.
I got called for jury duty. The judge was highly recommended by my senators, so I would really like to do this!
Scroll down and read what Coburn says...(and you know how I love Dr. Coburn!)

I wish I had some meetings this morning. I could have used the nap time.
*Thinks about 2J on jury duty*
I feel very, very sorry for all the lawyers involved if you get placed.
Star wars kid pales in comparison.
Yah...during the whole storm fiasco, with power and heat out...the first order of business for us was to figger out a means of making coffee.
*slurp*
I woke up thinking about making yogurt! LOL!
Ha!!
Heh heh...I love it.
My kefir grains arrived too...I was practically standing by the mailbox waiting so they wouldn't sit in the hot mailbox for one minute.
I am now fermenting my first batch.
Is that a Federal court then? Say... that could end up being a really interesting case.
I'd love to do jury duty again. The risk is getting some really stupid boring case. Gimme a terrorist, or a kidnapping or a mob hit or something. No shoplifter, or DUI or stupid bar fight.
It's hot there?? Hold on... I'm packing my bags to come visit!
I don't know! I really have no idea.
It says district court.
I'm pretty excited!
Yep...I'm wearing shorts.
Come! I'd love to have you!
My little brother sat on a child abuse/death case and it really haunted him. I hope it isn't something like that...
With the day I'm having... boy am I tempted.
I'm extremely happy with these kefir grains...when I opened the package (they were packaged in a double baggie in about a fourth of a cup of milk), the smell was divine.
I never could get my other grains to work very well...they stunk from day one. So I'm optimistic with these.
