Oh yeah...that'd be the end of me. I'm sure I'd turn to jell-o.

He would find it. He could make them find it.

Besides, everyone else in town lost power last week and bought their generators Wednesday. Now there'll be a surplus.

Our weather alarm went off at 4:50am this morning, so I took the boys downstairs (thegirl sleeps down there already) and put them to bed on the couches. Mrnad was to get up at 5:00 anyway, so I came back up and saw him off to work. It's pretty windy out right now, but that's about it.

Right after the storm here, there were DOZENS of generators on Craigslist. Folks that assume we won't need 'em again for awhile.

So that's always an option.

I have some of the Writing Strands, but it's not my strong point. Mrnad's mom was a teacher, his brother-in-law and sister are newspaper writers, and I think Sunlight has a program where you send in (via email I think) assignments...I'll figure something out in a couple of years (when she's better at it than I am).

The library in town is having a contest for kids on writing a mystery. She's driving me crazy trying to come up with ideas. :-)

I ordered a Salton like yours. I first tried to get one on Ebay, but decided against it so was glad when I was outbid. I got it from eSalton.

Happy early birthday to me. :-)

Evening all...

Just found out something that has me somewhat tickled... Rose and I have recently been reading and enjoying a trilogy of books called Temeraire: In the Service of the King. Earlier today I discovered the official website devoted to the series, and just now while I was browsing the author's blog, I came across this story: Peter Jackson options 'Temeraire'.

Having Peter Jackson produce movies based on this series would be just too cool!

Dragons during the Napoleonic wars? Hope they were on the English side!

Well, the series is about a particular dragon and his captain serving in the British Aerial Corps, but there are actually dragons on all sides of the conflict!

Let me know how you like it! I do want to get one when we move South, and I can't get that good Trader Joe's yogurt, anymore.
