Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Can't do lava lamps?
Well, I ~could~, but I can't find 15 before tomorrow night and that blows the budget...just a bit.
We do have one for the serving tables.
Heh...when they first asked us I asked the wife "Where are we gonna get 25 pot plants?"
I didn't get any calls for rescue, so I'm going to assume she did. I don't know the details of her flight to check, but she's probably in the air now. It's a gorgeous day, hope she got a window.
Or perhaps a seat next to a nice young doctor, from a good Catholic family...
That would be a particular bonus :~)
You know, part of me keeps thinking "why didn't they just drive."
Then I think "silly Easterner..."
How 'bout giant paper-mache peace symbols?
Can you get them here in time?
Lots of bad weather between here and CA... Bad time to plan a trip through the Sisques. Flying's better, get there in two hours.
Lava Lamps.
Oh... OT already thought of that.
If finding the real thing is out of scope... find a color picture, copy and fold into standing paper cutouts.
You buyin'?
hmmmm...I thought about something like that...with glowsticks in the middle to light them up...
That would work and get a chuckle out of everybody...
Steve's got a job interview. In Enid. A two-hour drive. It's Monday...he has Monday off for MLK day.

We're considering going with him if the weather isn't too bad.
If it *is* bad, they agreed to reschedule.
Cool! Prayers up!
Dude, I can't wash my dishes on time, let alone be crafty ;-p
Oh, Suzi...I don't want to leave Oklahoma.
If he could find something here in Oklahoma, I would sure be happy.
