I didn't get any calls for rescue, so I'm going to assume she did. I don't know the details of her flight to check, but she's probably in the air now. It's a gorgeous day, hope she got a window.
Or perhaps a seat next to a nice young doctor, from a good Catholic family...
I made it. Did get a window - and it was very pretty flying weather. I was glad I stayed in Puyallup the night before, though - the roads were pretty icy and it would have been scary trying to drive up in a hurry.
Been pretty stressful so far, but I guess we knew it would be. Lots of standing in the middle of a bunch of people who are all talking about shared experiences that don't make any sense unless you were there. And I'm too old to be part of one group and too young to mix with parents...or so it feels. I guess it's a city folk versus not kind of thing, too. I'm not and never have been a party gal, either. Oh well.
And there may not be any sightseeing time at all...today would have been the day to do stuff, and it was arranged that we meet ANSWER grandmother (the communist one, that is) for lunch. I realize we don't get many opportunities to see her or she us...I'm just kinda disappointed, that's all.
Is I bitter or what? ;-) On the plus side, da niece was a perfect angel on the trip and kept us all entertained, the motel is simple but nice, we had good food last night, and we get pizza for lunch, probably. Mmmm...pizza.
